Actually, if you want to know something funny jack, shih tzus believe it or not are one of the most closely related ancestors to the wolf of any current domestic dog breed. Peeks too. I know it is hard to believe, but it's right there for anyone to read on the AKC's website. Saw it on a Science channel show about dogs too.

@kawaiixkakashii if u ever own a shitzu u know they are like that they love being loved and cared oman they are so sweet docile nothing like a chihuha does i can tell u love em like they are cause they are load and kinna grumpy but the shitzu is a special breed ive have two already one past away awhile back even my mom cried and she didnt like dogs and we just got a lil shitzu her name is kiiki they rarely bark always wagging that tail and totally inlove with you haha beautiful dogs

@jorgitoy2k You ought to buy one from a Shih Tzu rescue, sometimes you can find purebred dogs that are just 1 or 2 years old that were owner surrenders. If you are going to spay or neuter your dog, this is the morally best and least expensive option. DO NOT BUY FROM A STORE, ALL STORES SOURCE FROM PUPPY MILLS. At the very least, look up breeders and buy one directly from the breeder! No responsible breeder would let their dogs be sold in a pet shop!
