Hi, I have a NEC MobilePro 790 and 900 and I can't figure out how to sync with Windows 7. I tried Active Sync and WMDC but none are compatible. Do you have any ideas? PS: They do work with Windows XP.Thanks.

Actually, its my favorite mobile OS. I've tried Android, Windows Mobile, Debian Linux, etc but Windows CE stands out as my favorite. The only thing I don't like about it is the ugly GUI.

@WatchCharmedOnline Oh I guess it just seemed that way since you were comparing to Windows on an x86 processor, ultimately it's superior, but Windows CE and other mobile systems are meant for mobile devices and Windows x86 versions are meant for x86 devices.

Hey, apart from Windows CE NOT being open source, designed for "picture frames"... that's pretty good.

It was designed to run on computer type devices such as HP Palmtop type machines, early Smart Phones and the like.

I have a few questions. Why is Media Player attached but I can't use the radio? Are the Photo viewer and Player are good for opening up things from a USB drive? Is Skype only good for talking to other Skype members? I took think its only good for surfing unless I don't know how to work the APPS.

Most of the applications on CE are not what they are on Windows xp/vista/7.

You can say that they're entirely different applications with the Windows Media Label.

I don't know about internet radio for CE< but I bet there' one somewhere out there.

My spouse and i downloaded Windows7 on our laptop computer and it runs flawlessly. We down loaded it via Windows7FreeDLXcom (replace X with . ) and it worked fast.

Flash lite works horribly. Luckilly, these smartbooks comes with a youtube player that works flawlessly streaming at near full frame rates which they call Youtube Play 1.6. It's very nice.

Those little CE laptops are ok for light MSN chatting, or reading an EBOOK etc.

dont expect much else. they do not perform well.

Ce laptops are nice because they are very small and light weight. I have onemyself and it's the one I carry around while I just leave my big laptop at home.

Ce laptops are good for web surfing (which can be slow), but that is nearly all it's good for. Most of the software doesnt support it, but ammased a nice collection that does work on it.
