  • I have a 96 z28 with a 396 can I fit a 98 conversation kit on it ... not a v6 fan but that's a nice ride man how much HP does it make

  • My hero i have a 2001 camaro rs with the same engine i murder mustangs all the time but there is always this dick v8 mustang driver my goal in life is to beat a 8 with my 6 and a turbo will bring me closer to that goal i will follow your example thanks dude.

  • is ur car automatic?

  • ha man i dont care about all the haters awesome camaro and its so cool you put all the work you did into it. props to the badass v6 and just the awesome fact its a camaro

  • whats the final price for the turbo cuz dont you have to get certain parts costume made for the v6

  • Where did this guy get that sick blue paint job?

  • @JrayBeatz I painted it myself with a friends help! Medium Quasar Blue Metallic.

  • i love my camaro but its a gas killer but its fun to drive and i cant complain lol

  • CAMARO FTW

  • how much did that cost you to put on?

  • this vid gave me soooo much confidence :)

  • so how many miles were on the car when you installed the turbo?

  • nice!! where did u get those front turning signals they look really nice

  • damn..

  • nice car, i have an 87' trans am w/305v8 and 700r4 tranny; im thinkin about dropping the motor & tranny and swapping a 3800series 2 V6/5speed out of a 4th gen, boring out engine out .02 over and turbocharging & intercooling it also, obviously a cai and a new aftermarket muffler, have any thoughts or suggestions on that idea?

  • @alexeddy79 dude just get a supercharged 3800 series 2 and be done with it.. lol get a bigger supercharger and be sure to get a 3.4 pulley!!! that supercharged whine will make you jizz your pants

  • @gradxg

have you ever seen a supercharged series 2???? where would you like him to put his throttle body? through the firewall?

  • @joehuzman1995 very true my bad i wasnt even considering that

  • @joehuzman1995 If you pick up a supercharger from a Holden from Austrialia, they have RWD supercharged 3800s.

  • LOL he does it for attention I KNEW IT

  • can we get a recording of the car running, engine bay view and take offs please

  • i got the same corvette rims on my car

  • this really is like the ricer of the muscle car world, why give hondas shit?

  • @theSHEEPJeepXJ Do you even know what a ricer is? I'm going to safley assume you don't. When you turbocharge a vehicle, that is not rice. When you put on a body kit, rims that are too big and a fart can - but leave the motor stock - that is rice. This car looks really nice and clean, and has no goofy spoiler or body kit. There is plenty of motor work done to this car, which means - you guessed it! - not rice.

  • @theSHEEPJeepXJ What makes this car "ricey"? Is it the fact that it has a turbo v6? If thats the case, then would you also call a Grand National a "ricer"?

Just what is your criteria? Im puzzled because I dont see a wing or a goofy body kit or silly rims or anything? Just what the fuck makes this car a "ricer"? Pleas fucking enlighten me since you seem to know the damned answer.

  • ppl like to hear the damn car you know

  • believe me, any great car enthusiast knows the 3.8l turbo from the grand national is one of the best v6s you could buy. anybody who says otherwise really doesn't know anything about these engines. i personally would have put the z06's ls6 in it since it's technically an ls1 with some more powerful and stronger upgrades, but everybody has their preferences. definitely not a disappointing choice though.

  • i do agree 3.8l are good v6 but why would you pay the money to put a turbo on a v6 for about the same money he could have had a v8 engine swap

  • @larrydg24 to be unique i would rather have a v8 too but when a v8 gets wooped by a 6 cylinder that makes it very unique

  • Car looks damn good, if only that much money were dumped into an LS1 though!

  • nice job, I like the facelift Im putting a newer one on my 94 z28 how much did you spend updating the front end?

  • dare to be different! Very nice ar man!

  • sick car... why dont you let us hear it? :(

  • I must say that your Camaro is a very clean car. And I really like the dual exhaust that you put on it. Take care of that car!

    I have a 95 V6 3.4L (Polo Green)

  • @dart20918

Ditch the 3.4 and get an LT1 or LS1 those 3.4's were terrible piles of shit, and the LT1 isnt a whole lot better but at least its an 8

  • @JesseJames20051987 No thanks, I'd rather keep my piece of shit the way it is. Making that big of a change would just produce another cluster fuck that I don't want to have on my hands and I would have to chop some of the interior up to make it fit.

  • @flowmasterish and if you maintain them properly they dont die lol

  • seeing your car makes me proud..

    i have a 2001 v6 camaro

  • nice car man i had a 98 v6 back in the day i now have a 02 z28... those 3.8s are nice ha you can beat most any other v6 and some v8s i bet yours is pretty fast though whats it run like 13s?....12s maybe

  • Why a V6? easy question to answer because its a Buick V6. And they are proven well past 1000hp. If it was an older v6 camaro, say a 2.8, 3.1, or 3.4 then I would say why? but the Buick V6 is no ordinary V6. And any douche that says you could have had a V8 apparently doesn't know anything about engines and should just keep their mouths shut.

  • Yea your right on that stock over twin is no comparison unless you drop 100k on smthin stupid but twin or not if it aint geared it aint goin nowhere quick.

  • Once i get my car done i might have to take my happy ass down south for some rwd v6 4cyl pwning lol.

  • still slower than the v8 and the v6 exhaust sounds funny.same motor that my grandpas buick has lol

  • i have camaro v6 3.8 its bad ass

  • Im did almost the same build to mine im working on a better video then whats on our page right now but ya gotta love the 3800's.

  • I really like the blue you got. im an LS1 owner but im not gonna hate like other people do very nice car!

  • i just got a 95 3.4l v6 camaro and this is an insperation. great vid and who cares if its v6 i personally think theyr easier to work on. not gonna be the fastest car but theyll still whoop on some fords!

  • My magnum rt is faster than this

  • because v6 engines are the best engines to modify!!!! :P besides lil rice burners, but they actually have to do that to make there car fast... and a stock v6 maro would still whoop on a twin turbo civic hahaha!!!!

  • @crazy4baseball47 oh yeah, no torque in civics.

  • @crazy4baseball47 i have a v6 maro. im no fan of fwd but i think a twin turbo civic would work me. and if u wanna say that im a shitty driver i dont think any good drive can whoop on a twin turbo civic in my purely stock v6 camaro. now it's also the 3.4L not the 3.8 so that might make the difference but twin turbos do work in any car ha. unless it's the supra where the single turbo is better, as far as my knowledge goes. there maybe be some twin turbo supras that prove me wrong ha.

  • So how fast is it? How much horsepower?

  • I had a 92, with a V-6, I often thought that the car itself was a little "heavy" for the v-6....I remember my front tires always "locked" up when I had to stand on the brakes, very dangerous..I never drag raced the car, just always rode down the highway at 85 m.p.h...But even after babying this car, I was on my 3rd clutch at 112,000, and it supposedly had that fancy "borg wagner tranny" in it, every time the tranny was seperated, parts fell out, I've been import ever since...nice car though...

  • @NOCELLL you had a shit camaro then because ive owned 6, ever model ever generation, if you dont maintain them you'll have problems, same goes for every car, i hope you have fun with your underpowerd 4 cyl because when you drive down the road everyone laughs at you, unless u drive a cedes or suburu, suburu is a good car and i HATE imports

  • love this car, even tho its the v6 its still a beautiful car, an would love to have mine look as good as this, i have a 94 z28 6 speed, all stock but soon to be worked over when my money starts rollin back in love your car, best looking camaro ive seen yet

  • v-6 id roughly 300+ lbs lighter than a v-8 and the c/g is further back increasing stabilty same difference between the z06 and standard vette 300lbs is the difference in weight plus its not a simple walk in and buy he did it himself nice work

  • if you have to ask if its hard to put an Ls1 in a 4th gen... you can't do it yourself and yes it will cost YOU!

  • haha a v6 fuck v6s

  • @gamepunker loser v6's can be built up to be faster than v8's, one of the fastest production cars of all time was a v6, the grand national, search that up, they ran low 12's stock! the new challenger dont even do that and id know cause i own one.

  • @challengerman15 Lol you dont know anything about cars do you?

  • @gamepunker obviously more than you. v8's arent that great the ford 302 that they put it the mustangs in 1989-1994 only had about 180hp it really depends on the car because some v8's are super weak, some v8's are great. the same goes for v6's. four cylinders are just gay

  • @challengerman15 4 cylenders are gay? if they are so im guessing an evo,and an sti are both gay also because they are 4 cylinder cars.. but the funny thing is they can beat most v8s out there... okay dude get you shit straight.. some of the best motors are 4 cylinder motors like the k20. for example those motors if put in the right cars for example like a civic si can dominiate most 6 cylinders and most v8s... but of course u have to tune then and put in mods..

  • Comment removed

  • @gamepunker exactly fuck face you have to put mods in and tune it to be able to even stay with a stock v6 or v8. id like to see a stock 2007 civic si keep up with a 2007 mustang gt actually against a 2007 mustang base v6 and try to win..... the only good thing you're doing by buying an import is supporting the commies and helpin the enviroment..... once again take your 4 cylinder ricer and shove it up your ass and take like a man because you cant buy a mans car you have to buy a gay womens car.

  • @gamepunker you might as well buy a toyota prius and try to win since thats what you're basically doing. the car will just fit the driver...GAY AS FUCK.

  • @challengerman15 lets just say this i have a 07 civic si and before i got it turbo charged i ran 13.9s now im running 12.5 i run better than alot of v8s and when i wasnt turboed i still ran better than alot of cars.. so fuck off kid you obvisouly dont know shit bring you gay ass v6 down to lousiana so you can get beat my a 4 cylinder haha. 400 whp baby thats all i have to say.. later fag

  • @gamepunker yeah yeah, why is it every guy who owns a four cyl tells me the same thing? oh i got 400hp i run 12's and my car wastes anything on the road? cause its easy to talk shit and lie behind a computer. you probably have a gay beat up lil honda. honda is good at making lawn mowers and economic cars. every guy who owns a four cyl tells me the same thing, your all full of shit so go buy a mans car because tho you like yours people laugh at you when you drive by on the road. fwd 4 cly, sure.

  • @challengerman15 why would i lie to you? i dont give a shit about you ....lieing would be stupid if i had a old beat up honda then id say i have a old beat up honda but i dont . and i could care less what you think kid... im just telling you the facts..and im sure every guy with a honda talks shit and backs it up. go race a 400hp civic and i bet youd get your ass handed to you ..im dont with you .later.

  • @gamepunker there is no such thing as a fast honda, theres quick hondas, all u guys have standards and when you shift they hop around on the highway and then you guys pull these amazing numbers from your heads and all of a sudden your 135hp little honda civic has 400hp and can beat anything on the road. yeah ive heard all before and your just like those faggots who watched fast and the furious too many times

  • @challengerman15 Agree x10

  • @gamepunker you're the fag. there is no such thing as a fast import only quick lawn mowers people think are ugly and annoying.I've seen the "400whp" dyno for a civic and i've raced one in my 1998 dodge 2500 cummin turbo diesel and wrecked shit on the freeway this being said my dodge redlined at 3000 rpms and 120mph so fuck off mcfuck bucket....take your ricer and ram up your ass.

  • @Zach4046792 dude seriously... u have nothing better to do than fucking stay on you tube and talk shit... dude u honeslty dont no shit about cars do u... bitch fuck you and your shitty dodge idk what civic u fucken raced with 400hp but if the guy knew how to drive he wouldve smoked ur sorry ass.. SO A BIG FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHITa you obvisouly dont no shit about cars..

  • @gamepunker you're gay stop trying to be cool with you're 4 cylinder POS

  • @Zach4046792 o trust me buddie ive seen pleanty of gs get whooped by SIs. infact i was on of the people thats beat gts.. why dont you take your gay ass truck and run in it off a fucking bridge..

  • Nothin wrong with a 3.8L.

  • I think its awesome you decided to be different my 96 3.8 bird is in the middle of a 408 stroker swap Headaches after headaches but in the end itll be different than most, congrats to you

  • hey man how did u turbo your camaro? i've searched it a bunch of times and almost always come up with people saying "just buy the z28" or "do a v8 swap" are there any diy that you found to help you with yours? How much did everything cost you and how hard was it to do?

  • is it super hard to do a Ls1 conversion on a 2000 3.8?

  • @challengerman15 oh yeah its so hard to drop an Ls1 in a f-body when they came with the Ls1 in the z28. this is bullshit everything bolts right in you fucking tard... its hard to fit the turbo piping intercooler oil lines etc for the turbo system then the Ls1. you don't even need to swap the trans if you have the a4. but what the hell do i know i just own 2 f-bodys

  • @JPARKERZ28 actually the 4l60e has different bellhousing for an ls1 then a 3.8 but other then wiring it is a very straightforward swap

  • @JPARKERZ28 are you being sarcastic and that it actually is easy to put one in?

  • @challengerman15 yeah its very easy a few nuts-n-bolts...i have even taken mine out through the top... you don't even have to drop the k-member anybody that thinks its hard well don't know what to tell ya

  • @JPARKERZ28 alright right on cause i wasnt sure if i should build my v6 up and supercharge it or buy a 350 and drop that in and just sit with 330hp i dont need insane hp just something to move the car a bit better

  • Dude were did you get your cold air intake let me know please by the way man badass camaro you got there.

  • people dont relize the 3800 series 2 is a great ass v6

  • @gradxg yup i ge critasied on everythig my grandpap and dad and uncle are sayingjust buy a v8 its not worth doing anything to a v6 3.8 my motor has 153k my trany has 66k i cant find a cold air intake anywear

  • @gradxg hell yah man thats what i be trying to tell ppl...i got a 2000 3800 and i mean its not a v8 or nothing but its a v6 worth owning

  • @gradxg what kind of v6 is it? I mean what is IT that the schematics cannot tell? Yeah they speak for themselves, but so does the music. I mean is the engine compartment the same in this camaro as is in the 87 berlinettas? should I just wish and hope that one will fit in mine? YES IM IGNORANT plz tell me why it is so good.

  • @MrTex1987 well its not underpowered like alot of fords older v6s and makes a decent amount of torque and if taken care of right THEY LAST FOREVER my moms 01 buick lesabre has 270,000 miles and the motor is still going strong and still manages to spin the wheels even after all the wear and not to mention they get good highway gas mileage, also you can get a supercharged version of them and they are also reliable, most motors that arent naturally aspirated usually get problems

  • @gradxg hmm they are naturally aspirated...didnt know that thanks. Point made :)

  • @MrTex1987 yeah but there is the supercharged one too but no turbo model

  • @gradxg Ive got my dads old 4bolt main 350...but damn, I really need something better than 8-10mpg. take a pencil coil a wire around it, stick one end on the positive on your starter and ground the other end. It will increase mpg by 8% on any car. This changes the frequency of the motor and frame. Add some cracked hydrogen, plug the hydrogen into your carborator, turn your distributor and retime it and the motor, 0 gasoline. Some old motors combust even after the key is off...age is irrelevant.

  • @MrTex1987 Ha ha ha LOL! What kinda gibberish is this? Mythbusters would have a field-day.

  • @originaldriver Euroe even Russia does nearly the same thing with their cars...Ever wonder why there cars dont rust nearly as fast or hardly at all? You wont find a mythbusters eisode of that. When a car turns over, the sark lugs give a 2nd sark that imlodes the negative energy left behind from the exlosion, which sucks the iston back into the cylinder to hel the crankshaft. And its naturally harnessed. The exlosions are whats killing us. But imlosions are the secret to beyond light seed

  • @MrTex1987 Rust is caused by a "Galvanic battery" effect. Oxygen combines with iron and sheds positive particle in the process to become oxidized. They have common devices that will feed a positive current throught the frame of car to halt oxydation. What you described with the pencil is little more than an elementary elecrto-magnet. BTW. I think that you need a new keyboard. Your "P" key is inoperative.

  • @originaldriver Your right and well they halt a chemical reaction...Im talking about halting the ositive energy in the frame all together and turning it into negative energy for the motor. And it wouldnt matter what size it was or who made it. All machines simle or comlex run off the same frequency. Amlify the negative energy and you might not need combustion at all. And yes I know..for a few days my . made a .5 or 5. or.55 Im kinda hoing my next2okey will start working(I sewed milk all over it)

  • @MrTex1987 There is one absolute truth that cannot be overcome in the world of physics. That each reaction will produce a greater deficite of some sort. Negative energy, reguardless of the endless amounts of that exist in nature, will still require an initial investment of energy and have a deficite for it use. For an engine to harness a meager 25% of the available combustion energy, 75% is lost to heat

The first law of conservation of energy is absolute. It can be stretched, but not escaped.

  • @originaldriver The force can also be equal to that of its originator AND it can be an oosite reaction...Its only deficit is if you're doing it wrong. All laws address a roblem or chain of events that noone yet knows how to solve or get around. All laws were made to be broken ^^

Making an engine run off of the oosite frequency of what its currently running on is a huge andoras box of technology. If we are Careless it could lead to Cosmic Destruction or it can save the lanet. Whats new right?

  • @MrTex1987 I like turtles....

  • @originaldriver Oh no...

  • @MrTex1987 What happened to your "P" key?

  • @devildad1620 I spewed milk all over it one day....shit happends lol.

  • its missin 2 cylinders!!!!

  • i got a 1996 firebird 3.8 and im thinking about puting a turbo in it but i all so have a 2000 z28 LS2 with a hot cam in it and a jet chip dynos at 422 HP can you use the same turbo on both cars if not i will buy a turbo kit for the the Z28 i dont care its only money can some one tell me if you can do that

  • Hey

I just bought a Chevy S10 i was hoping to swap a 350 into would it be better just to keep the 4.3l V6 and turbo it will it help me save gas and may be even keep my insurance down or raise it?

  • neither. they won't know you've swapped your motor. your vin number will still tell them it's a V6. it won't change your rates weather you swap it or go boosted. as far as which one to go with. the 350 would be cheaper. but if your gonna swap for a v8 go for an ls1. you can find one for around the same price, it's a more modern and more powerful motor and the swap will be just as easy as a 350.

  • as far as boosted 4.3s go, ppl have done them but the results are usually lower than expected. plus theres more maintainance neccesary for you engine and the turbo itself. you have to watch your ratios a lot more, there's fabrication needed to mount the turbo. the whole thing ends up being more expensive

  • @topmcat Thanks Alot, i decided to swap it with a 350.

  • can i add a t urbo or SC by bolting it on toa 3.8 v6 firebird or doi have to do any mods?

  • What modifications did you have to do to the motor so the turbo wouldn't trash it?

  • you dont need any as long as your not running high boost

  • where can u get a cold air intake

  • clean as fuck

  • What kind of rims? I just replaced my stock ones on my 95, wish i looked into these

  • there c5 corvette z06 wheels

  • wow.. camaros are muscle cars, not imports or tuners.. regardless of it being a v6 or v8

  • since when is a v6 camaro considered a muscle car

  • @jp198780

The Grand National and Turbo TA are called muscle cars.

  • I have to give it up to you.. this car is badass.. its nice to do your own thing with a car

  • i have that same car as yours and going to do the same thing as yours....how long did it take you to do the turbo??

  • love and war and i think its drowning pool

  • anyone knowz the name of diz song so my brother can shut the fuk up

  • how much that turbo run yai need to get one for my 90

  • ive got a 99 firebird. how much did this setup cost?

  • I think the money he used to do this setup, could of gotten him a LS1 setup. AND get the SAME gas mileage as that year V6 !!!! C'mon you guys!!!!

  • if i had a dollar every time someone told me that...

  • ..........you would have gotten the V8!!!! lol

  • yeah sell it and be like EVERYBODY else. that's original. of course because EVERYONE knows v8 is the ONLY way to go for performance. THNKS 4 PROVING OTHERWISE!

  • @dweisch319 no shit, its gotta be annoying lol. what the hell is wrong with the a modded v6?

  • @derj68 not everyone is out there for speed or gas mileage. some people like to be original and even if this camaro isn't "super fast" i give him a thumbs up for originality

  • @derj68 originality is a major plus..

  • @derj68 lmao! you apparently don't know shit about Buick V6s!

  • @derj68 it's not necessarily about all that, some people like to build v6s for the "cool" factor. If you had any idea how difficult it is to get a turbo on a v6 camaro you would know why it's so impressive..not to mention the 3.8 v6 is a tough little engine..i've got a 2000 v6 and with a few bolt ons a v6 camaro will destroy a v6 mustang and will win against a v8 mustang on most days. Would you rather say "my v6 is faster than your v8" or "my v8 is average..not unique at all" ?? think about it.

  • @Jonnypunk00 I'd like to see your bolt on v6 run against my bolt on v6 mustang, that would be interesting. It's definitely fun having a v6 that can take on v8s

  • @Uplift91

    Mustangs suck small mouse penis.

  • @JesseJames20051987 Hahahaha really? I'm thumbs upping this. You win for stupidest comment on the page!

  • @JesseJames20051987 you right

  • @Jonnypunk00

I would rather have a V8 just because they have that much more potential, and V6's sound like rotten shit no matter how you cut it.

  • @Jonnypunk00 put that money you put in your 6 in a 8 and its over, just saying

  • @Jonnypunk00 by that logic your dream car would be a one-cylinder that could almost hang with 4-bangers!!!

i'll take the faster, better sounding, more fuel efficient, more durable, cooler car, thank you very much.

  • @Jonnypunk00 Definitely, I have a 2001 3.8 Camaro. Never lost against a V8 Mustang in a straight.

  • @derj68 and the same car everyone else has, i think its sick when im on a cruise and a dude has a turbo 6. its unique and for that its has alot more cool effect then a ls1

  • what song?

  • dude, where did u get that turbo?

  • Any nubers dude?

I bet it makes more than my 95 Z28 lol

probably weighs less too, and better mileage (but who cares - it's a Camaro, right) :-D

  • @grenade350

    Probably not.

  • sick ride wut color paint is that blue jw. also wut kinda turbo u runnnin n that

    also check out my maro

  • I completely understand the V6 thing, I myself have a bottle fed 88 5.0, but I have seriously considered getting a hopped up 3.8 mustang. ANYBODY can make a V8 quick or even fast. However, a hotrod V6 is very unique, takes a little more skill, and pays off in the end, keep up the good work , the car is AWESOME!

  • ive got a 96 camaro and ive got a small turbo butn othing else wat do i do to get my baby runnin faster cuz its just not enough now

  • Sell it and buy a LS1

  • Love your ride =) how much dos it cost to thune up tiss Engine ?

  • damn man that looks like a sick ride. u runnin stock internals?

  • Iv got a 93 camaro is close to your blue mine is a daytona blue by Nissan it is beautiful so is yours i like your rims i have corvette ones to but different style the ones i have are 5 spoke I wish i could convert my front end but didn't have the money for it

  • Why don't you logically explain how it doesn't make sense? If you can honestly explain how it matters, I'd love nothing more than to hear it.

  • You dont understand the answer? ^^

  • Probably b/c its a lot faster than the z28 of that year and still costs less after the turbo setup.

  • Nice ride for the V6. Put a turbo on a V8 & you'll see even more power & have more fun! But I like your car & the blue color is great!

  • get a v8 gezzzzzz

  • FTL..

  • How much work was involved with the '98 front end conversion?
