Parkie Quit because the real celebs with real life stories had all been interviewed and were a dying breed. The new "celebrities" have all gotten fame handed to them on a plate with reality style TV shows, hence they have never worked up to their fame and have no interesting stories to show for it. The so-called charm of Billy Connolly is lost on me. I remember some years ago he lectured, in his act, how he was going to put the world right. He was, and is, crass.
Since he loves a profanity, I will ask you to consider this apt and simple description him ... a conceited, self publicising arsehole.
