People need to understand that, don't just do a fighter wave, you got to bust the shields, then have the fighters attack, ALL at once.

Better protection, use at least an avg armor of 8, on all cruisers, and add escort frigates with anti-fighter missiles (Way way more effective then defender laser) Or better yet, get your own fighters, set them to escort cruisers (range 600) and watch them wipe out your opponents stupid fighter wave at first (cause he didn't set escorts) and then watch them decimate your opponents cruisers when yours come in to bust the shields.
