@FS3K I know this comment is old, but there is a game that is currently being made called digimon world Re:Digitized. It's supposed to be a similar game to the original digimon world. It wont be released to late 2012, and there is very little information on it, and very few screen shots of what the game might look like.

@FS3K Graphics I really think should not be touched. They fit in with the cartoon style and if certain people get hold of a game like this, we will have greymon looking like the T-rex from jurassic park in no time.

It is certainly a good idea to give the younger generations a chance to play a game such as this. It has skill which so many games today lack. Changes I would appreciate would be more digimon like digimon wolrd 2.
