It was a Tippmann 98 Custom with the velocity turned all the way up at point blank range. His team rushed our team at close range using terminator rules..(Not eliminated until you drop your gun and give up regardless of how many times you get shot)

That is correct. When we play at close range (terminator games or bum-rushing) we turn them all the way up, because we're not interested in accuracy at that point, just inflicting pain to make the other person give up faster... It's at close range.. I choose pain infliction over accuracy any day in that situation.
