No way someone would actually do that during the world finals and risk not being able to get 1st place. 2: Notice how his truck broke down right after the backflip. MTM2 and Rigs of Rods are better (happy, now?) but this game is a close 2nd place!! Only downs are the lack of text on the truck and online play. Also the game should have different settings. Not as in difficulty, but as in style of gameplay. There should be an arcade mode - nitrous + floaty jumping + unlimited save time, novice driver mode - nitrous + floaty jumping + 5 seconds to save it, pro driver mode- nitrous + floaty jumping + 2 seconds to save it, and Monster Jam Pro mode- none of that.

Over all, the more I play this game, it is the best one that they made! There still can be alot of improvement when driving the truck. Seems that the steering at times goes haywire, which in turn can make me feel very frustrating!!!

One thing that they really half arsed was how the paint schemes. i mean some of the ramps look pretty sweet but the cars are painted the same color on every track, and same with the vans and buses. They should have done like MJ where they paint the cars according to the dirt ramp that they're on.

You know one thing that really takes away from the monster jam feel is the lack of paint on the ramps. Random trucks have paint schemes resembling random trucks which I feel it really stupid. Its is steps in the right directions. MAYBE after all of we play the game they'll listen once again and maybe just maybe they will do racing brackets. Chicago style tracks or J hook track. What they need to do is make more like Dirty to Daytona type game. Build yourself up to the Big Shows and whatnot. I'm tired of seeing a monster truck do barrel rolls in mid air and off road racing. Next game stay with what Monster Jam is about.

The 1 thing would be so cool is that since Xbox has Kinect out soon. you can have a POV view and if you brake something you can fix it. More interaction with the game.

Yeah I agree, these are steps in the right direction, the game looks abit cluttered with all the stuff on the track. And I still see some semi-unrealistic physics such as the barrel rolls and what not, and the commentary is just absolutely TERRIBLE. But they do look like there getting the right idea with the Physics, and the truck customization looks like it's gonna be pretty cool. Hey, atleast they've listend a little bit.

Only EA or the guys behind GT5 could make a SIMULATED MJ game, which we as fans need. Gameplay start with county fairs with a junk truck and go through thunder nationals, to full stadiums and qualify for WFs. Make a open ended career/seasons. The game would have to be very hard as in one mistake and you lose the race.Varying dirt sufaces,truck setups,creat a track(stuntman)ect.

Pause at the 6 and 18sec mark the arenas look good in size.Activision stated before that we do our own intros with fireworks.At the 8sec mark u notice the stadium lights are off just like real life intros.They don't truely know what it means as of HEAD TO HEAD.The create a truck looks the most pomissing.Digger and MaxD chassis are all wrong,as with alot of other things.Yet with no details released yet like most games you'd think they know they failed in what they truely wanted to accomplish.

Its a free downloadable truck simulator game that u can download monster trucks and tracks and actually have real life physics and tracks to freestyle on. it is totally awesome! i totally recommend it to every monster jam fan its exactly what your looking for!

@clintufc8 type rigs of rods in bing or whatever click official RoR Respository Index. click on green download link on the site on the top left of the page and then find the trucks to download with it too.. if i remember right one of the freestyle courses download with the basic download. you then just have to download the trucks separately

Y'know, no one is FORCING you to buy the game. FELD and Activision aren't holding you at gun point to buy this. If this game isn't your cup of tea, don't buy it, plain and simple. Complaining will not change that many or nobody's opinions about this game.

True, it has its downpoints. But compare it to UA, this is an improvement and if they keep improving, they'll reach a good point.
