  • When i first see the Movie i was about 10 years old. I was so impressed from the huge size and the shape of the Nostromo. I tried to built it with Lego bricks and played a lot with the Model i came up with it :-) Man thats long ago....Nice to see that people take care of the Original "Old Lady". The Nostromo is a kick ass Space Ship Design wich is simply awesome :-)

  • ..John Eaves wearing a Star Trek: First Contact T-Shirt, coincidence?..since he designed the Enterprise-E ?! I :-)

  • I'm sure the original crew had little to say about how it was stored. Martin Bower has kept many originals he made over the years and is a talented, friendly and accessible guy. If you want to know about the model and who was responsible for it being left out in the elements, just google and email the guy.

  • This was a fascinating series of videos to watch. I didn't realise it was such a large model, but it goes some way to exlaining how they fitted so much detailing on it. It almost makes me want to go and make out own spaceship from scratch.

  • who cares where it's restored. At least it is being done by people who care. That's all that matters.

  • Wonderful job ..... my eyes thanks

  • Nice work, keep it going!

  • My favorite word of all time N0STR0M0

  • A Shame it's not in the U.K. where it belongs being restored by the original ALIEN miniatures department crew..

  • Well, the building it's being restored in was where the original IL&M use to be, on the same stage where they blew-up Tie-Fighters and such. So that's pretty cool.

  • I agree. :(

But at least its getting done. Hopefully they'll at least send it back home eventually.

  • @kolchuga

The same crew that left the model in the rain for 20 years........

  • Nevermind I just looked up "grant mccune design".

Lol (not so much) @ "...the photos that I guess Martin Bower provided".

    The poor baby.

  • Is this being restored in England or LA?

That didn't look or sound like an English bloke.

I was hoping that propstore got the poor thing far away from LA.

  • Yay finally. Great job.

  • This is a awesome rebuild guys, Thanks for sharing this iconic piece of movie history.
