  • You can find more info about Whisper and her relatives at aragongreyhounds.blogspot.com. I love to hear about other greyhound folk getting their feet wet in the competition arena!

  • Thanks for the encouragement - Hopefully I will have something worth videoing soon!....the attention Whisper gives you during heeling is very impressive, I can only get Fangi to be that attentive if I'm holding cabanossi or cheese!

  • Wonderful! I have just attempted my first CCD with my greyhound - we didn't pass.....but am determined that we will get it - thanks for the inspiration!

  • @austcast1

Good luck on getting your obedience title! I love working with the dogs. It is challenging and rewarding! Would love to see videos of you working with your grey if you can put something up!

  • Just love your videos!

I'm gonna give it a try with one of my Greyhounds really soon! =)

  • @Cybermyriam

Just keep it positive! I find that they respond the best to reward based training. Good luck!

  • Wow, she's huge compared to my 2! How much does she weigh/how tall is she? I wish I could get my greys to be that obedient... Well, Kibby's kinda close... Well done!

  • @emusician21

She isn't that big, maybe 67 pounds or so. Her handler is just a tad shorter than than the rest of us!

  • @Tarmars1 Haha! Well, mine are only barely 60 pounds, so she is a bit bigger.

  • I dont think Ive EVER seen a greyhound sit!! And what a big girl Whisper is..well done.

  • @chizzywoo

Greyhounds can sit! The racing greyhounds are raised in an environment where there is no need to sit. They are either in their crate where it is most comfortable to lie down or they are in the turn out pen where they are moving around and interacting with each other or they are training/racing. Why sit?

  • Wow....that's just amazing!

  • Very nice work , nice attention too , great job and congrats.

  • Helen, I want to see a UD on that greyhound! She's awesome. This is the kind of hound that makes obedience fun!
