I have been using these product for over a year now, and my hair has grown like never before and its thicker. I admit that i do not use it everyday, only weekly. I love the moisturizer so much!!! my hair before wuz "negro damn" hair, now its "damn girl u mixed with indian" hair. people are starting to ask if my hair is real, and its only shoulder length. But use this and use u sum BB maximum growth grease with sum monistat (yes yeast infection cream) my hair growin like sea weed! #1 Recomended
I love the moisturizer, It really protects my hair and "fattens it up" to me. I guess that could also translate as making it stronger, but my hair feels thicker when I use it.
She has beautiful, healthy and thick hair. She probaby doesn't want her hair down her back. As she is an older woman. See: hair growth and set backs 2003 - 2010 vid. A young black woman who has hip lenth hair ! Don't be so ignorant.
Ive actually met her in person at circle of sisters and she is a wonderful lady!! :D ive been usin thse since late sep, and no results yet but i have faith in it, also, whenever i do use it, my hair is always silky!
I have been using UBH products since 2009 and they really work. Before using the product, my hair was dry and prone to breakage. After using the products my hair was silky and shiny and I noticed hair growth after a month or so. The UBH line of products are wonderful.
I am transitioning and I tried pressing my hair, but it curls back up. So I would use gel to slick it back down. How can I press my hair without it curling back up.
(continued) so now I'm going to buy your products and do your 365 day challenge. I really hope that your products work. You have beautiful hair and I've learned that if I'm going to be opening up my salon when I get my license, that I need to have good hair so my clients know that I know what I'm doing. Oh! &if your products do work, I plan to use them in my salon and sell them! Maybe even give my friends your book? Hopefully I can keep you posted!
Hi Cathy, so I'm 14 and I attend a Cosmetology school. I used to just get my hair braided, &never have a regular routine for washing. I knew I needed to change my routine once we learned about the properties of the hair and scalp. So I found your book on amazon.com. I begged my mom to buy and luckily she did. I just finished reading it. All the scientific information that was in your book, matched what we learned in school. So I knew that I could trust you.
Hi Cathy, I really want to transition without the big chop, my hair was APL 6 months ago and I have suffered severe breakage through a bad relaxer at the hairdressers. My hair is barely past my earlobes and is so patchy that I cant wear it out anymore. This is very distressing to me and I am at my wits end. My hair was long, thick, healthy and full of body but now it is the opposite in every way. I have been looking on your site and wonder how can I get your products in the UK. Many thanks x
You are a smart woman and if it wasn't for you I wouldn't know how to take care of my hair, so thank you so much for your knowledge and may God be the glory.
@Missjenandjuice LOL I know. This length would have really been amazing to me maybe 5-6 years ago but ever since I've been watching videos on youtube and frequenting hair forums (Not to mention seeing my own hair past my shoulders), this really isn't a big deal to me. She still has pretty hair, though, but an amazing hair length to me now-a-days would be wasit length or like you said hip length.
And constant heat is not going to help you retain length. I'm thinking she probably doesn't do the whole blow drying/flat ironing very often. Meaning like once a month or further apart...
I truly appreciate your videos! I have struggled with going natural and staying natural. Do you have any advice on how to grow out my TWA? I hope you can help with a product recommendation.
Hello Cathy I am so happy to see you are making vids for us. I am almost done transitioning and will be starting my natural hair journey soon, I will be showing you the results when we see eachother again at the circle of sista;s in New York. (your no# 1 fan Kelly)
@sgmom2 the book clearly says "this is not an instruction on how you should use blow dryers, but why they should not be used." then goes on to give you guidelines for blow drying because people are still going to do it so she gave guidelines. It also says blow-drying is NOT recommended BUT usage should be kept to a minimum and extreme caution IS advised when using ANY heated appliances on our already dry hair. Hope this helps.

so, I am guessing the moisturizer and/or the spray mist is also a heat protectant...
Your pressed hair is gorgeous and looks very healthy.

I am confused. I just received and read your book and it clearly says NOT to use a blow dryer. Have you changed your stance?
