It had a lot to do with shit going down in my life at the time, but goddamn no song has ever meant so much to me. And it's a straight fucking jam, so there's that.
One of the few songs my lazy ass has learned all the way through on drums.
"Think of all the things you did before, write them in a letter that says 'reborn'", I'm sorry i normally don't make comments that quote the song, but that is just too fucking awesome!
@charliehuka . . . Yeah, because I take it you know what the song's REALLY about? Well, here's the scratch, in case you, like most of the other people who've heard Coheed and Cambria in passing, and passed this judgment on them; The song isn't about anything you'd think it is. It isn't the band saying: "Kill yourself, depressed children!" it's telling the story of a portion of the comics pretty much every Coheed and Cambria song is based off of, which would be The Amory Wars.
@charliehuka particularly, the interrogation, and violent decommission of an IRO-bot (Living, cybernetic organisms, similar to a Terminator with human emotions) named Sizer, by the comic's antagonist(Tri-Mage, Wilhelm Ryan)'s right hand man; Mayo Deftinwolf. Your reaction is under no circumstances called for. Perhaps this will be a learning experience for you, and in the future, you'll know to do the research before passing judgment.
Good comment. The album booklet includes the footnote 'These lyrics are part of a story and are not to be taken literally' after the lyrics to this song.
@FailedAbortionBaby That awesome moment where you see one of your in real life friends has a top comment on a Coheed video hurts when it's followed up by the moment where you realize that comment is entirely incorrect. :(

this song makes me smile, just recalling the time me and my friend just had a sing along to this song for no reason. just out of the blue.
