  • Are the other truck yours or the place you work at I want to work there as a truck driver nice trucks

  • Cornbine

  • i sure like like this "corn field cadillac" its kinda funny i was only a year old when she was built...and it still looks in pretty dang good shape, i wish i could say the same for myself...haha

oh yeah, you got some pussy by the driver steer tire...hehehe...have a good one and be safe out there.

  • nice ole truck

  • kitty. oh nice rig too!!

  • Did I hear turkeys too?

  • my father showed me pics of his first rig he got afyrt he got out of the army in 1968 it was a realy big gmc cabover i beleave with a sleeper? if it did it couldnt have been that much room inside im not sure what year is was but i know he said he paid $3,500 for it back in 1969 or 1970 when i was young in the 1980s he got a 1972 white i used to go on long over the road trips those were the days man i kinda miss that alittle stuff

  • I had a friend who had a horse ranch who had a'74 Transtar like this that he used to pull a big horse trailer with, Don't know what engine it had.

  • lol the cat

  • You really have some damm good looking old cabovers.

  • @haustan123 I agree this one and the 1980 look like they are in factory new shape for the most part

  • I like the sound of the roosters; reminds me of my trips to the Philippines where you hear them 24/7 even in the city areas. Is that the truck's original bumper?

  • I can't remember what years but they had the model for only a year or two that had the spacer panel below the door that DID NOT have the recessed step, as you can see here. The Transtar seemed to set the trend of getting the cab/driver higher (when they added that "spacer") which was of course followed by the Pete 362 and Ford CL9000. Nothing like cruisin' up high in the cabovers!!!

  • Nice rig.................

  • Love the old 4070s. I thought they stopped making the 4070A in '73, and started making the 4070Bs in '74?......

  • Thanks for sharing!! wow thats the same year harvester i learned on . Memories

  • Watch out for the kitty cat

  • you woke up the roosters. LOL

  • This is the truck of the first Terminator movie of 1984, it was a gasoline tanker.

  • The sun must be coming up on the farm.

  • Straight pipe that thang!

  • Thanks for the compliments. Yep, thats one of out many barn cats. That is a car crusher. It is one we bought and fixed up. It was on its way to the welding and paint shop in this video. They fixed all the bent metal, put new glass in the cab, and sandblasted and painted it. It looks like a brand new machine now. Plus, It gave me a good excuse to hook the ole transtar to a load and make her work some.

  • @319detroit hey bro, i was wondering if u can give me some info, i found a 1979 kw coe. but its been siting for about 15 yrs. the towing companies cant not tow it to my house b/c its been sitting so long. can u tell me some tricks on how to get it over to my house????. the air brakes are locked up.

  • @319detroit Very Nice 4070..beats me why Int'l put those tinny sounding center outlet exhaust manifolds on on all the natually aspirated 8v71's though? I drove one for a friend of my dads many years ago, and while we had the blower off of it to put new end seals on the rotor shafts,we took them off of there and replaced them with rear outlet manifolds (straight back) off of a wrecked KW...sounded really sweet after that, a lot deeper, throatier sound to it. Got a 71 in the crusher to, I see.

  • sharp looking transtar nice work

  • Is that cat yours?

  • the ole "Corn binder" looks good!! great shape!

  • Heh! Looks like a car crusher on the trailer of that unit. Nice truck BTW and nice vid!

A bit of suspense waiting to her her fire up! :-p
