I was just listening to their album before. I still remember those days when my dad brought me to their gigs, I had such a swell time. Victor Oria (keys), who is also my dad, is already here in Australia with his family.

I used to go to Monk's Dream in Makati with my girl just to see this group. Citilyte 88.3 and Monk's Dream are now gone and I haven't heard of Parliament Syndicate anymore. I wonder where has good smooth jazz music gone now in the Philippines.

Mar Dizon is the best. he's been with the very best-sounding bands of the late 80's and early 90's, starting with the first line-up of Side-A, followed by Artstart (of Ella-May Saison fame), and then Parliament Syndicate. very good musician with awesome taste for smooth easy-listening music.

There are a couple of songs with the title "Lovely Day". One is by Mike Francis. This is an OPM by Parliament Syndicate with the same title.
