i think the 'black hash' you are talking about could be bubble as well, just oxidized and/or with more impurities. the colour of the hash is largely determined by those factors. IE, afghani black contains alot of extra plant matter that may add to flavour but ultimately reduces overall thc content. bubble hash removes that and leaves only the tricomes which results in a much higher thc content, but in the end it's all up to the quality of weed you start with

"BC bud" refers not only to the region it came from, but also a specific strain that was grown commercially for it's huge yields... and yes, it was crap. but thanks to a lenient court system and very cheap electricity indoor gardens are everywhere and the variety of strains is huge. i doubt very much that the medi weed you speak of is any better than the weed i smoke everyday but ya never know.. maybe i've spent the last 25 years smoking shwag and just don't know any better
