  • i love your video :D

  • McCartney recorded a solo demo of the song on 24 July 1969, when he arrived early for an Abbey Road session. It took less than an hour to finish. It was officially released in 1996 on The Beatles Anthology 3 and issued under The Beatles' name, even though McCartney was the only Beatle performing on the record.

  • why do such a stupid video? why?

  • If only it was the 60s now I would go and get it. Sorry that sounded a bit dirty LOL

  • This is the BBCs Radio2s SoundsOfThe60s Beatles A-Z song for week startg SAT7AUG10 History of the song can be heard for 1week after Aug7 Written by Paul & a hit in USA & Britain in 1970BUT for Badfinger who Paul signed to Apple & directed them how to do it. Also used in movie that featured Ringo; 'Magic Christian'.Demo version eventually released in 1996 on Anth.3. Paul sings plays drums piano maracas & base Guitar.Recorded during sessions for 'Abbey Rd' on same day as Sun King & Mean Mr Mustard

  • actually timothyQ this title is not misleading it is the beatles not just paul.. well it was recorded during the abby road recordings and was also going to be put on the beatles compilation "sessions" before it got dropped for whatever reason. also i believe its on beatles anthology if i'm not mistaken? so it is the beatles.. written by paul and given to badfinger.

  • @leemo8552 It's just Paul actually.

  • biggy, shut up. Paul didn't exactly do it for nothing. He did it in the interest of their fledgling company, Apple Records. This is Paul's demo.

  • And, of course, Paul got a songwriter's royalty on the publishing and a producer's royalty on the record sales. So, no, he didn't do it for "nothing".

  • Exacto mundo!

  • Talk about one hell of a gift. Imagine being an up coming band and Paul McCatney gives you a song for pratically nothing. That's got tell you how awesome Paul is as an individual. To say you know you guys are just coming out I know what it's like, I'll give you a hand. Too cool

    Peace:) ZenLay

  • It's Paul McCartney on his own, it is NOT the Beatles. And like FlingsPoo said, it's a demo Paul did for Badfinger. This video's title is misleading. Please change it.

  • @TimothyQStanton It was released on "The Beatles Anthology 3", and would've also appeared on the unreleased Beatles LP "Sessions". Thus, The Beatles.

  • Yeap, it's Paul's demo for Badfinger.

  • That sounds like Paul to me. I'm pretty sure this is the demo.

  • this version is by Badfinger... it is not a beatles demo.
