You'd have to gave gone through what he did. The pain tomoya went through is humane is actions are justifiable. They may not be right to alot of people, but his love died cuz of ushio he blames himself but he never once blamed his daughter. When people are in despair they say things that are not howvthey feel but reflect their pains feeling. In his heart tomoya tried running away.
