Yeah it fixed the problem on this phone I have now I have had 7 hd2 phones and my girl has had 5 and t mobile will not let me upgrade my phone they only offered me a refurbished mytouch 3g or a dash so I called the Bobby on them and they still wont give me an upgrade only entry level device
you said you just run android on it now, did that get rid of that? Because i have replaced the screen two times and it still has that weird distortion on it.
remove the battery, sim card, and micro sd card. wait at least 5-10 minutes. put the battery back in, and start the phone. this usually works for me to have it boot up again successfully.

have the same issue nothing ive done could fix this now its in the lab for a week and even they font know wht to do with it ,
