Nightwish will never be what it was with Tarja in my mind. Yes I love Nightwish with Anette, but she can be too "poppy" sometimes. Both Anette and Tarja have amazing voices and styles. I will always believe that Nightwish was better suited for Tarja's style, but I will always be a Nightwish fan regardless of who their lead singer is.

This is song so made for Annette Olson. Her style is so different than Tarjas, and yet both are very good. Siren and 7 Days to the wolves are all Annette too. Tarja has volumes of great stuff. Leave some room for Annette, shes earned it.Even with millions of people pissing and groaning about the split up, Annette still managed to push this albums sales to MORE than all other Nightwish put together. Tarja is doing fine. Shes a pro. Annette is too.

You can't really compare Tarja to Annette. They have such different voices and the styles in which they sing are completely at odds, it really isn't fair to compare them. It's true that Nightwish falls less under the category of "melodic metal" and more under the standard "heavy metal" since Tarja left, but that doesn't make the music any less meaningful or lovely. This song in particular illustrates that they are the same band, singer aside.
