  • Cool! I didn't know this also exists in Japan. We have a similar ancient art to your suminagashi here in Turkey. But we use a different technique and the inks we use are more solid so they don't spread on the water as quick as yours.

    I watched the movie which you taught. I really appreciate this. The marbling of your country ,'ebru', was really vivid and was beautiful. I thought that a design was made static because oil was sprinkled on the surface of the water a lot first. Surely, in the other countries, there is various technique.
