When you get to the blackout page, click "learn more" and it tells you right on that page how to access Wikipedia without having to resort to translating non-English versions of Wikipedia.

If you are using Firefox set your quick search bar to Wikipedia. Type what you need, hit search and you will see the page appear before the blackout page kicks in. Just hit the stop loading button in time and you will get your page. Long live internet piracy! xD

@MrExodeux is easier as a tool to use wikipedia because you dont have to go search in your library for a book, or to a library, or buying one, it is an one click tool always at your disposal. if you have a homework and SOPA passed you would have to go to the library, ask for a book, pray someone else didnt took it, pay for the book rental, and stay up all night to do a couple of homeworks

@MrExodeux i know there are other sites with usefull info, but if you read the link wikipedia sends you to when you click the "learn more" option, at the bottom it says that if you really need to use it, just disable javascript on your browser and there will not be any trouble, now the thing is that as there are more tools, some of them are just trolling so you never know who you are trusing, you might be learning incorrect things, also it's not bypassing if the tell us how to stop it

chill out people. Wikipedia's black out will be successful in raising awareness even with if you us the spanish site. They still raise awareness.

I for one knew practically nothing about SOPA + PIPA but after today am in full support for people from the US to fight this act harshly. I talked to my buddies and they found out about it today too.

So none the less, go ahead use the spanish version. The blackout will be very successful in raising awareness either way.

Everyone!!! I realize this is against the point of the blackout! Some people need to use Wikipedia right now and cannot wait until tomorrow... It's a highly useful source. Many people need too use Wikipedia for school. 

Obviously going on the Spanish edition and translating it is an inconvenience. I am highly against SOPA and PIPA.
