Not sure if it is true that he didn't like her. I am sure that he did more than once I got the suspicion that he would have liked to end up with her. As for her not liking him perhaps yes, perhaps not. Possibly she just didn't know him and thus didn't trust him as he can be a little too out there and she is more reserved. However working together more probably got her to see that he is just a playful guy and harmless in the end.
Michael is the best incarnation of Lex I have ever seen portrayed in film. I have nothing against Tess, but the transformative character development between Lex and Clark is not something that the fans can easily dismiss. Many of the fans understand that Lex is probably NOT dead...he may even have a meteor power to help keep him alive, ahem... but watching Lex further unfold into his true villainy is something that will provide amazing contrast to the character who Clark Kent is becoming.

To have a superpowered hero with unspekable powers vs. a man with the intellect to challenge him but yet doesnt have "powers" is what makes hime the best archnemesis of our day.
