Wally is the original name, the UK (where Wally was created) and Australian kept it that way, nearly every other country changed it to suit there culture, so I'm an Australian and Wally is what I grew up watching :D so Americans you don't need to debate this because you's know him as Waldo.

Despite 13 episodes on CBS, this really did set a standard. It was on for three months in 1991, but got canceled thanks to a lack of ratings. However it was nominated for an award in 1992 and it is a great cartoon in my opinion. I wish it would come back to television.
