  • As with most of you here i keep coming back to this scene, ive watched the film at least ten times and i went out with a girl who was the spit off this actress, so reminds me of my younger days late 70s early 80s its almost like my life on screen its spooky, just an adorable low budget film

  • why do i keep coming back to see this scene? I think somewhere i connect with these characters or is it my past...?i love my past!

  • Ha I mean 2:53.

  • 1:30: The exact moment I fell in love with Felicity Jones.

  • i cant find anyone who appreciates this song as much as i do...makes so me sad.

  • @VickyGM74

    I do!!!

  • This scene is one that you do not simply forget. At least, I didn't. It really does stay with you, and it can be a great thing for a youngster like me to identify with it.

  • Awesome!

  • love this scene its sooo cohesive and flowwyy lol now i sound like some douchy film critic but its true!

  • I have watched this clip at least a dozen times having first enjoyed the movie! This clip of Felicity Jones brings out something in her that is truly captivating! Love the movie, love this performance, bravo again and again!!

  • I love this film, especially this scene :)

  • uhhh what was with the scene with his friend in the fun house lol.

  • this movie.... Specially the last scene... Where she reads the letter... Made me cry... And I didn't wanna control it....hats off to this genius....

  • anyone notice how trippy this scene is? The scene is in slow motion but when she is singing the song it matches the song at regular speed... She had to lip sing each individual word backwards so when the producers reverses the take it matches the song in regular speed, even though its in slow motion!!! TRIPPY.. great song and movie..

  • When I saw the reprise of this scene, at the end of the movie, my eyes started watering and the tears came streaming down, and wouldn't stop. And i didn't even know why. The emotional fucus and extreme accurateness of what it expresses is so acute, so raw and at the same time understated, that it took my breath away... and it also "took me right back, to when i was young..." and the first times i heard this unparalleled song.

  • I'll w'd like to know what''s the name of this music. I mean this part she sings "when we were young". It belongs to some album? Tks

  • touched

  • makes me shiver...

  • thank to the story, my life has been change ....

  • I really loved the movie, no idea why it didnt get very favourable reviews.

  • I've never seen this movie so I really have no idea who these characters are, but I noticed that the guy's outfit (particularly the jacket and hair) look very similar to something Bryan Ferry wore in a photoshoot in the 70's. Love it!

  • @TheNeverEndingAge oh ...you need to see the movie..its really good!

  • @SexyLabyrinthsGirl I have heard many good things about it. I'll plan on seeing it soon!

  • &'nnd it really upsets Me that when this Movie came out I NEVER ever even heard of it. the only reason I watched it was because it was On Demand for a couple months before I decided to play it! that was a good decission I made!

  • this was a great but confusing Movie! I loved it, when I seen it! &'nnd I love this song because of this Movie

  • brilliant brilliant movie

  • This is just one scene from the movie that makes it so compelling. The scene with little Jane and Mrs. Rogers made me cry just as the ending scene where Ruth breaks down and finally cries as this song plays. It's a great movie and I can watch it again and again and still be moved to tears.

  • This film has two great scenes and both revolve arounfd this Roxy Music song...this scene and the scene later in the film where her character recieves the letter from the Daniel Craig character...

  • This is a god like scene.

  • "How you choose between Bryan Ferris and David? They´re God´s"

Have to agree in this one^^

  • there just ain't any girls that enjoy a good game of roxy music anymore. bryan ferry or david bowie - TOUGH CALL

  • It made me feel young again as well as sad at the same time.....

  • love felicity Jones! You totally mezmorise us in this scene.

lots of love from a fello Brummy and Briton :)

  • alguem sabe o nome desse filme

  • @crismario100 'Flashback of a fool'

  • @crismario100

    reflexos da inocencia

    flash backs of a fool

  • This movie is a hidden gem. Sadly it came and went with very little publicity. If you haven't seen the movie, you need to; it's one of the best!! This track is simply brilliant. When I come across this movie on TV something makes me stop every time and watch it...again!

  • I was mesmerized by this scene. I'm addicted to listening to this song now.

  • This scene is great!! Roxy music were the best... one of my fave songs of theirs, so innovative

  • I can't stop crying, this scene is too real 'takes me right back'

  • God ya mans timing is brutal

  • Brilliant! This scene is fantastic. How can you not fall in love with Felicity Jones miming to a masterpiece of music.

  • I honestly can't stop watching this scene.

  • felicity jones is hot

  • perfect song for the best scene in this movie!, touching pure in a way..

  • is there someone beside me for whom an atmosphere of this scene resembles one of "C.R.A.Z.Y." with Bowie's Space Oddity in a background? :) both movies are simply great

  • a remarkable scene from a brilliant movie...

after having seen it, and watching this several times....

i finally realized why i ball my eyes out every time:

the preciousness and fragility of life's brevity, the tragedy of unrequitted love.

the return of the envied superstar to see what he really missed out on, and her spontaneous realization that he had loved her all along, and that everybody's perception of the other one having their dream, was just that.

    a dream.

  • @yogapradag I never knew that's why she was crying...Thank you for piecing that together for me...

  • @yogapradag I understood the final scene in other way. The key is “Graveyard Scene”. She was totally unnatural there. She had played some freaking role of widow. It was disgusting. Joe has written the letter because he remembers how the real Ruth looks like. He has helped Ruth to return to herself out of mask. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't believe that in this perfect movie there is such badly played moment as Ruth on Graveyard, so it was by design.

  • my fav part of the movie :D

  • he is orginally from turkey !!

  • i watched the film because this clip, ive always loved the song, great film, two great actors in this scene,

  • No you are not. That's why I love the song!!!!!!!!! It's full of romance.

  • am i romatic if i feel that scene is full of energy, love and something wonderful?

  • Great song in a surprisingly good film. If your looking for a film to while away an hour or so this is a good choice

  • Superb drumming.

    Punchy, powerful, accurate.

    The best.

  • Under rated movie by far. Not sure what the critics were thinking, they need to revisit this flick.

  • I love this movie...& this scene (starting with Bowie) is my FAVORITE!!!! I love David Bowie!!!

  • The teen things echo to eternity!!!! The love will never be the same in other ages.

  • This is great film!!! So emotional! 2:45

  • great movie , this escene make s me cryy T-T

  • Thought the movie was awesome. Memories and Love never die

  • Such great acting in this movie

  • great movie soooo, underated! this is possibly the most sexiest scene in the pic' how could you choose?...how many of us been in this situation ?......and never realised it!!.........

  • After watching the movie, this song has a completely new meaning. Great movie, great song! The end scene makes me cry like a baby!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Fantastic bit of the movie, the music fits the mood perfectly. The girl is strangely mesmerizing. The whole scene hits me straight in the gut, reminds me of my youth and a girlfriend i lost.

  • like the bit at the end, floor sended usually.

  • A beautiful movie.

  • Great movie. Such a sad scene really. Brilliantly played by both of them. You can see in his eyes how much he adores her. And the he just blows it ... too young to understand how it affects his life later on. And the song is possibly the best love song ever written!!
