  • superb get your kids to watch this... mine goes nuts jumping around, the harmonica player is a star!

  • I remember this back in the day when Buster was dressed as Henry VIII

  • So Sublime would of got abit of their style Music from Bad Manners.just in the quickness and instruments bein Ska

  • My history teacher at school is the harmonica player. He used to play Bad Manners on youtube during lessons. Dave Turner, fucking legend!

  • Why you laughing at me

  • And went straight to bed....heeee hheeeee heeeeee.... :)

  • Lorraine punched me on the nose,so i slapped her round the HEAD!!!!! :>

  • look a tthat costume?!

  • Married to a Loraine.Brilliant band live.Played it at her 40th will play it when she leaves us.

  • Putting their childish antics aside, these guys were clearly up there with the best musicians in the country. The bassline, harmonica and horn section is absolutley sublime.

  • @Umskiddy Absolutely brilliant musicianship...childish antics?,maybe..., I'm thinking originality/showmanship...so lacking in so many quote,un-quote performers these days.

  • GRANDISSIMI......:-)))))

  • I was definitely born in the wrong era...19 years old in 2011, i should have been 19 in the early 80's living in the UK skanking to Bad Manners and The Specials!

  • I grew out on this band! They are absolutely one of the best ska maniacs in the Uk!

  • Didn't they get banned from TOTP for this one?

  • @TRuble510 Buster tells the story that he came on set for a performance after painting his head red, the TOTP floor manager was in a sad mood and banned them for life, as the red head fucked up the lighting

  • WINSTON BAZOOMIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Fuckin DEMON on the Harmonica

    LEGEND

  • great video

  • omg this song brings back memorieeessss! <3

  • some more nutty boys

  • Is that Woody from toy story on harmonica?

  • I like Perfect Thyroid's version better

  • 13 people are called Lorraine

  • This really is an excellent tune, it stands the test of time.

  • I'm going to have this song in my head now for the next two weeks. Not that I mind.

  • Those were the days, when TOTP meant radin gthe dressing up box and 'pop stars' didn't take themse;lves too seriously, didn't have their heads upo their arses, but loved what hey did andit showed.

Besides, Fatty Buster Bloodvessel (Doug Trendle) is an absolute legend in the fun for life stakes.

    I salute Buster, I salute Ska! :D

  • My new theme song

  • I love this song- but Buster doesn't look like himself at all! Not used to the beard- but he sure pulled off Henry VIII.

  • the irony ie: Henry VIII costume coupled with the words when i find her im gonna kill her is hilarious....Lip Up Fatty!! go Buster

  • @newellgirl I see what u mean! King Henry used to actually kill his women when he got upset with them!!

  • w la ska revolution

  • love that crazy harmonica dude

  • i love this song bring back ska music xx

  • i buzz off this song lol xx

  • Buster, one of the few people who made Henry VIII look small - we all think he's great.

  • That doesn't loook lilke buster to me

  • shame the quality isnt poifect but it's still great to see anyway, love the henry viii outfit, lol - thanks for posting ! :o)

  • Lorraine thumped me in my tum,

    so i ****** her up her ***.

Only sad thing about this song

is it tells me i'm not young anymore.

    Next milestone death. Onwards and

    upwards. :)

  • pik-it-up-pik-it-up-pik-it-up-pik-it-up

  • Buster jest stworzony do takich ciuchów! Swoją drogą świetny numer (szkoda że nie na żywo). Jeden z tych za które cenię tą kapelę.

  • awsom song just brings it all bac i no ever word i had 1

  • I went to Butlins last year on an 80's weekend, Bad Manners and Go West both played live ha ha... It was most excellent!!!

  • The early '80s were brilliant, could you imagine this much energy and inventiveness today? It's all commercialised shit like Westlife and Take That. Simon Cowell, Pete Waterman and Louis Walsh are the 3 people who ruined British Pop Music, the Holy Trinity. I'm female by the way, are there any other females who feel the same way as me? Oh perhaps Im not a proper woman.

  • @Feisty1967 You're absolutely spot on Fiesty!! I couldn't agree with you more!

  • Why you laughin at me?

  • König Heinrich VIII war wohl doch net so übel, wa?!

  • best song ever

  • remember this one,

  • THE ORIGINAL SKA!!!!

  • the 80's.... loved it xx

  • i did a gig with them Regents rd..London 1980 ..the drummer decked one of the toffs in the foyer ...i think it was an Etonian ..

  • Wicked, long live Ska

  • pekinsal&the suede ed.....

i was at the donnington rally all those years ago, must have been 84 or 85 ???

I remember the meteors were playing there as well and the area in front of the stage being a real mudbath.

Buster and the gang were awesome and i remember the can can dancers coming on stage as well at the end of the gig.

I`m sure i saw them at an Isle of white rally as well???

  • never thought i would see this again. Amazing and thanks for the memories

  • For the first time in my life I was so in love.

Aaah haa haa haaa haa haaa!

Why are you laughing at me?

Brilliant start. Buster out does Keith Michell in the Henry the 8th stakes. He suits a beard. Albeit a fake one.

And albeit I knew any chance of the Specials really making a difference, which they promised in 1979, was now a fast retreating thing in the speeding rear view mirror.

No different to all the rest then. Rest in Peace.

  • i recon this was one of there best songs, but love lip up Fatty

  • @TheSuedeEd Were you at Donnington when Bad Manners played? My pal and I were two of the first scooter girls back then!!!! How old do I feel!!!

  • when i find her i`m gonna kill her!!!!!!

  • wicked song : )

  • I cannot sit or stand still during this song. I put it on the juke-box in the Pub the other day and just couldn't help bouncing around like a loon.

  • i hear what you say..i love this song and the group...you can not keep ya lips sealed.....lol

  • i should of sent this song to a "lorraine" i went out with! BITCH! lol

  • por primera vez en mi vida estuve enamorado jajajajaaj por que te ries de mi? jajajaja

  • Well everyone at school used to take the mick out of me when 14 cos my girlfriend was ..... Lorraine. And she even brought me the Looney Tunes LP it came from. Bad Manners great hits are fantastic ... EL Pusseycat

  • HAHAHA this song is great and it actually got them banned from TOTP.....

they were banned for a while for singing to a blow up doll

  • Que recuerdos por dios!

  • Somewhere between Madness and Oingo Boingo there is a band called Bad Manners.

  • my mums friend lorraine hates this song and they always played it at work

  • i wonder why ?

  • GREAT! Very famous here in Italy in the '80's

  • i love that harmonica tune in their along with busters voice and the horns, such a great fuckin tune.

  • A brand new bed? Yes a brand new bed!... Crackling song...

    Why you laughing at me?

  • Lorraine~Lorraine~Lorraine~Lorraine~Lorraine~Lorraine~

Lorraine~Lorraine~Lorraine~Lorraine i so luv wotsername ... oh yeh ... lorraine frazmoglorikal toon

  • i,d like to question you about the lyrics -

  • Lorraine was the first ska song I've heard in my life and it was shocking to me at that time; I fell in love with ska since then and all of the other great bands such as Madness, Specials, and more; but this remains to me one on the most powrful ska tunes ever. Thumns up.!!

  • @alextw13 fuck off u cant beat MADNESS

  • cheers great stuff

  • haha, ik heet lorraine, ;D

  • Niet echt om trots op te zijn als je naar de tekst luistert :P

    Maar wel grappig :D

  • saw them open for english beat a couple months back and they blew them away. one of the best times i can remember at any show. still great energy and great music. go see them live if you get a chance.

  • Couldn't agree more! Saw them for €25 along with a great support act called Play Daisy. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. Just great fun and great music!

  • viva la Bad Manners!

  • come back skinhead girls xx

  • Best ever ToTP performance?

  • can you think of any better???

  • why are they playing the album version? O.o

  • Top Of The Pops has artists lip sync their songs

  • its not right now he's skinny.

seen them they were the bollocks.

THERES A MOOOOSE LOOOOSE ABOOOOT THIS HOOOOSE

  • Seeing them tonight! WOOHOO

  • I saw them at The Electric Palace too - the most fun I have ever had at a gig. The place rocked. Orange Street were great too.

  • This tune did not make the charts as others by The Specials, Madness et al, but it is one well hidden gem of the time. In terms of 'nuttyism', Buster may very well have been one step beyond Suggs & Chas.

  • Not sure that Buster would get away with the line about slapping her round the head these days somehow! And i think I heard another questionable word follong the word flipping as well!

  • lucky it was'nt these days it was the good ole day where you could slap them round the head

  • Ah, but the next line is "Then we talked to whole thing out and went straight to bed", thus, informing us - the listeners - that violence is no substitute for discord. Quite enlightened don't you think.

  • This is my all time favourite performance from Top of the Pops.

  • Saw these guys in concert back in 1982 in Ipswich Gaumont,U.K..Great entertainers!..bought all their vinyls..:)

  • happy nutty days

  • im a nice lorraine

  • im a nice lorraine

  • wicked song :)

  • by these days' standards, he's not fat, get some pies in mate

  • Oh dear God! Its Omaha in 1983! I miss those days! These guys and the Untouchables, the specials, English Beat....Oh man. Do you ever wish you could go back in time?

  • im onli 17 and i wish i cud go back. ppl dont realise tht this music made the future and im gutted i missed it all goin on. lol

  • Damn... I'd forgotten about The Untouchables. I didn't know that anyone outside of California had ever heard of them.

  • i agree go back then ...great times...

  • Rude B0Ys 4 FoReVeR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • rude boys always

  • Dont go Doris.... :(

  • SKA/2TONE 4 LIFE!!! <3 busta

  • Lols, I'm still waiting.xx Lor (Lorraine)

  • great clip - their best tune

  • Big Jock Knew

  • All Lorraines are nice people

  • Actually I've been told to say 'I ain't found a nice one yet'

    Apparently!

  • I'm only 15 but even I can tell today's music is terrible compared to the older stuff

death to emo! happiness, fun and ska forever!

  • A teenager with true taste!! Beats the shit out of plastic pre fab pop shite and yo yo rnb and gangsta bollocks!!

  • Madness were meant to be the nutty boys but lets be honest here Buster was nutty as F**k most videos he was dressed up in some weird get up he made music so much fun something so missing in todays music we need another Buster invasion in the charts kids of today will think what the F**k this but they need to see what they missed in the 80s.

  • im so glad i found this. takes me back to the good ol days

  • this is so f**king good buster rocks

  • Fucking great!

Reminds me of my 2-Tone Ska times, about 5 years ago...

  • Long Live Buster n Ska

  • They don't even try to make great music like this anymore . Damn !

  • this is magnificent!

  • Oh my god! He vaguely reminds me of a younger version of Phil Mitchell from Eastenders.. ;-)

Great tune, always loved Bad Manners' songs, particularly this one - long live Ska music!! Cheers :)

  • nada mejor para alegrarce y disfrutar!

  • awesome..so happy and cheery ^.^

  • is so love this song

    ^_^

  • Real Class!

  • How good are BAD MANNERS and the ska era. Specials, Selecter, The Beat, Madness. My late 70's and 80's music... AVE IT!!!

  • Yes UNCLESWHALLOP. I love that stuff, that era in general really. Check out Kirsty McColl New England too.

  • yeah its pretty awesome i think...great music

check out Chickenpox somewhere...rare but good

  • remember gettin the 12inch and halfway through just makes loads of silly sounds, still class though.

  • I remember watching this a long time ago and some other Bad Manners stuff - I liked their music and attitude, but one thing that struck me was, that the front man was actually very good looking! He was really quite a dish, but went around acting a total idiot.

    zenileon

  • skinhead girl :(

  • I'm falling in love with this song,thank S.!!

  • I remember seeing this on TOTP, in maybe 1984?

  • I MET THIS GIRL CALLED LORRAINE :)
