@Bonzenpunk no, quantum physics hasn't laid the connection but it is there. in depth psychology (and in it's brief collaboration with quantum physics (Jung & Wolfgang Pauli) we have found it is synchronicity.

Interesting thoughts. Yet, I don't agree completely. It just made me think. Your entire construction on here is based on simple thought. Not neccesarily true one. And above all: Schroedinger used his cat to explain model of quantum mechanics to us. Not to explain our reality. Of course the cat is either dead or alive. But elements he describes aren't cats. This was only metaphor.

However, both do worse than the person actually given the real drug.

Ok so this is one of the main misconceptions and what keeps us stuck in the wrong "program". We cannot teach anyone to learn (this). It has to come from within. it is in relying on me to teach you this that you are denying the very power that would drive the wooden stick through the table. Once a man asked a sage what the secret of life was. the sage answered the secret is that there's no secret. what it meant was: you have to find it for yourself. yet deeper what it means is it's within you.

I am not so sure i get this - how can the cat be considered both alive and dead just becasue the vial of poison is released randomly - is not either dead or alive - one or the other but we because we have no way of knowing we have to conclude that it could be either? Is this right? I mean the cat is either dead or alive regardless of whether we know it or not! Please explain if you think I am talking mince!

once the observer is included in the equation, we can't neatly separate anymore the state the cat is in and the observer. this has profound implic. for our concept of reality. at the quantum level the act of observation collapses the prob. amplitude. this also seems to be the case at large scale. the inevitable concl. whether it fits our current models of reality or not is: we are generating our experience of what we observe.

The woman (cat) and the letter (atom which triggers the radioactive sensor) are set in play from my self. My ego can be aware and project that it was a good letter. Or my pompous ego may be tricked by a slippery memories of bad letters in my subconscious. The letter could be charming or it could have a mispoke word, or misread word, both having the negative effect. the point of the thought experiment is one of observation: that we can't logically separate the observer from the observed.

It's your subconscious beliefs that hold the greater power. Unless we make them conscious, we're living out of the Ego's beliefs, only, and not from the true center. It's like having one eye closed. My opinion Nothing exists until I observe it through my senses. When We stop and question the "data" from the senses, we realize that the information is not what we thought it was.

If you imagine the body's arm as being atoms(electrons, protons, neutrons), then what force(other than physical) moves those atoms to give the appearance of an arm moving? The senses(including emotions, thoughts, memories, etc) is actually fluctuating energy observed Only experience(subjectively) is real.

it's more like: there's a core/self/ego construct and OS in us which keeps us wired to solidity. there's also a "s"elf-construct which is outside of this "matrix" which hooks us up to reality beyond this illusion of locality. This we call the "S"elf. So it's more like hooking up to the Self, and it's the Self which is not stuck in this illusion. the ego cannot fathom this. the steps to the Self are gradual and it starts with baby steps, which i will try to delineate in the next parts.

the point is that there's no clear line. the implications of that fact are drawn in the vid. on how to get out of the matrix/limiting beliefs see answer below and following part. we are born into it but it is also used to control us (more). yes there's a third option. the last parts of the series will touch this. but there's an important reason to be in the prison yet we must also get out...

If the system is built to enslave us from the beginning why would it go about making us believe we are enslaved when it knows we will eventually think the opposite and become free

Instead it would from the beginning make us believe we are free and then create chaos around us which would then make us doubt or own abilities of that freedom, and truly enslave us

well some people believe it is exactly the way you sketch in your third alinea. yet there's also some truth to your second alinea. the following part will try yo reveal what the deeper purpose of the Matrix is.

It's as if seeing the Matrix as all bad (or all good) is giving into the same old polarity--"not resisting" the Maya isn't the same as giving into it. The polarities only seem to be transcended when the individual individuates (integrates) his own Shadow. Therefore, the Matrix's role is to split us, so that we can use our *free will* to become true conscious beings. This is the heart of gnosticism, namely, you can only know (real) reality by knowing your (true) Self by uniting the opposite.

It seems we must introduce the idea of unconscious perception, along with the unconscious perceptions of all living beings (maybe even the cat's!) to understand the interplay. Indra's net, then, is far more complicated. In this sense, the collective perceptions could create a psychic tsunami unconsciously. (See also: 2012).
