I agree, but i think is the production's fault. It's very common that it sounds crap in those television programs. Also, it was early in the morning, and I know how is difficult to play/sing at this time.

The majority of coloring comes from the mains at a concert so when you draw a single channel out and blast it, it doesn't quite sound right. Just my guess from experience.

Dave gets a bit nervous still, he's human and he kinda deals with it by moving and twitching haha It's great, he's quite the humble guy still. I got a chance to talk with him a brief 2 mins maybe last year at CAL Berkley when he played the Greek, VERY VERY humble. I felt like I was talking to one of my best friends. And the mix hear as we hear it has a lot to do with the TODAY Show sound guy pulling Dave's vocals from the mic and not the BANDS SOUND GUY'S mix. Happens a lot on Late Night TV

We woke up drove from plymoth MA waited since 10:45 pm until 6:30 am then walked in and saw them in the rain after that we went to hartford. and he was awsome so glad he didnt play so much to say at hartford for the 5th time.
