Keiichi Tsuchiya is one of the best drivers in Japan he gets to ride the best tuned cars out there, I guess he drove a very good tuned RX-7 for him to say that.
Stock airbox, stock IC and inlet pipes, stock looking engine, but superb performance and perfect balance of response, power and driveability! Only Mines can do it! The best tuner in the world indeed! Pursuing the ultimate response with power is ten times harder than just going for raw power. The Japanese do not brag "we are the best in GTR aftermarket" unlike US tuners. All they do is create parts and you be the judge. Then we realize how awesome these parts are. Mines is a perfect example.
@AkinBloom Its all good for top end speed runs but you dont want Wide ratio's when theres a lot of corners like here... So That R34 went that fast, even while not having the proper gear ratio's for this track
@AkinBloom I think he means that there are a bit to much difference between gears - he would like tighter steps between them. I guess he means that if you shift at redline, the next gear puts the engine in a rev number below the sweetspot for maximum tourqe.

that car has to be the best Skyline built. It has a decent amount of power. The handling is surperb along with the good amount of acceleration. Fine tuning it wwould make it anyone's ultimate machine on a track.

This GT-R can FLY! That is one crazy fast car. I have never really been crazy over the GT-R. However, this Mine's GT-R is a total beast. Keiichi Tsuchiya drove this car masterfully in this video. He was working the wheel like a rally racer. The scary thing about this video- most of this car looks like it's in fast motion, but it's not! It's just a crazy fast car! I got newfound respect for the Mine's GT-R.

@bmwjimicali Good point buddy. GTR skylines have a 2.6Litre engine though (RB26). Nissan built the RB26 with response in mind which works excellently for mountain roads and racing tracks where they love to race.

Funny I run tracks and yes I do it in a 1050 HP(thats 885 RWHP) Mustang, Granted I usually only run 650ish RWHP but if I need I can always call up the extra 275 for the rear tires...I am limited to 550 on any giving race day but its still fun knowning I can run it balls out on testing.

that car has to be the best Skyline built. It has a decent amount of power. The handling is surperb along with the good amount of acceleration. Fine tuning it wwould make it anyone's ultimate machine on a track.
So fucking fast around a corner even at wide gear ratio.

This GT-R can FLY! That is one crazy fast car. I have never really been crazy over the GT-R. However, this Mine's GT-R is a total beast. Keiichi Tsuchiya drove this car masterfully in this video. He was working the wheel like a rally racer. The scary thing about this video- most of this car looks like it's in fast motion, but it's not! It's just a crazy fast car! I got newfound respect for the Mine's GT-R.

like acceleration, top speed from entering one corner to getting out cause thats where the performance is key think of it you wouldnt put a stock car onto a race track unless its oval because theyre built for top speed but a performance car like this mines gtr up there would probably dominate a stock car on a track like this cause thats what its made for

Im just wondering why a 2003 3.2 liter m3 engine makes 333hp without turbos or supercharger and a 2010 3.8 porsche gt3 rsr engine makes 450hp without turbos or supercharger..and a skyline engine is a 3.0 with TWin Turbos and makes 290hp and needs to have all these things added to beat normal sports car...i dont know much about car but i always wondered questions like these..

@bmwjimicali Good point buddy. GTR skylines have a 2.6Litre engine though (RB26). Nissan built the RB26 with response in mind which works excellently for mountain roads and racing tracks where they love to race.

Funny I run tracks and yes I do it in a 1050 HP(thats 885 RWHP) Mustang, Granted I usually only run 650ish RWHP but if I need I can always call up the extra 275 for the rear tires...I am limited to 550 on any giving race day but its still fun knowning I can run it balls out on testing.

OK its called a Boost Controller.In fact depending on fuel types and atmosphere I can go from a Hp setting of around 300 RWHP to my full boosted tune of 885 RWHP.That would be going from 5 lbs of boost to the full 30 lbs my V7 Ysi split Vortech will produce.Now back to your "Setting my rev. limiter to 5th gear" This shows your ingorance of tuning a car while I can set my limiter to Watertemps,Atmospheric conditions Etc, they dont a have gear drivin limiter.UR a Idiot.Nough said .
