not dangerous at all. i have done this trip 30-40 times... u will get wet but thats about it. if you fall in, its because you wanted to go in... or ur a moron. i have my life jackets for safety and law abiding purposes in the boat but other than that, they make a great seat cushion. ive been stopped twice by fish and wildlife officers. both times i saw them coming and we put our jackets on.

lots of warnings about how dangerous this little trip is, yet there are no life jackets being worn by anyone or in the boat that i could see....
