No he was firing an Assault Rotary Blaster, they are normally very fast and are hard to see, Projectile weapons are almost Nil in star wars cept for the Trandoshan ACP weapons and several Czerka Made Models Clone Soldiers never used Projectile weapons except if you count the lame Clone Commander Chain gun in Battlefront 2 which i thought was highly unrealistic to the movies, and if you watch the Old Republic Trailer you see a Republic Soldier firing a Rotary Cannon and its hard to see the Fire.

@99kingofhearts just being honest, it looked like he was using an old fashion gun (although they may not exist in star wars) there was no blaster fire coming out of it, all you saw was the weapon flash then nothing going from the gun, therefore it's possible that he was firing bullets. Then again, maybe not, it's just a theory.
