When political activist want to speak their message and make their point they go to the streets, when muslims want to make complaints about Israel or the U.S. they take to the arab street. Both of these groups get media coverage when they go to the street. The church should do the same and denounce the wickedness of America and preach salvation through the blood of Christ on the streets.
Ron Comfort is a good preacher. I first heard him at Maranatha Baptist Church in Okinawa, Japan in 1985. One thing that concerns me though about the church in general is that they have retreated from the battle to behind the church walls. That is why we are losing this country. The church needs to deploy to the streets and preach to the lost of America. The streets are where the lost can be reached, because they won't go to church.
@LauderdaleBaptist no, im talking about the "7 church ages" hes talking about in min5&6. dispensationalism is a made up doctrine. He keeps talking about the ecumenical movement, and keeps calling all the saved people “the church” is he preaching in an IFB church?
@faithaloneromero He is making an effort to apply scripture to his own interpretation with the 7 churches. The bible states nothing to support his idea.
Those 7 churches were in Asia Minor. I say they were because the Muslims destroyed them in 1922. The book of Rev opens with God passing judgment on them, just before the ends of time. 1922 the 7 churches, 1948 Israel in the land, 1967 Jerusalem in Jewish hands..... can you see the foot prints of God?
@AlYassou3Rabbi it doesn’t matter to me when they fizzled out. what I was saying is that those 7 churches were literal and the characteristics that each one had could be applied to different local churches today. People always say that we’re in the “Laodicean age” depending on whether your sitting in a dead church, a liberal church, a compromising church, or a great, on fire church is when you can look at Rev 2&3 and make the correct application.
Rev 17 is a reference of Daniel 2, and the problem with that is, you can not make Daniel 2 state that the Vatican is the the religious system of Rev 17.
He is in eff that Rome is the only city built on 7 hills in the world. There are many cities built upon 7 hills on the Earth. Meccah is built on 7 hills.
What these people do to make the Vatican the whore is, they refuse to observe what the rest of Rev 17 states. You can not do that when reading the bible.
@LauderdaleBaptist What is the 2nd chapter of Daniel stating? It is speaking of the statue of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream
John is referencing the OT with these verses in Rev 17. He is referencing Daniel 2 and Psalm 83. Niether one of those passages can be remotely made to refer the Vatican. Rev 18 is
referencing the OT teachings of Ezekial and so on
Isaiah states that the book is given to unlearned men. Rev is written to the Jews, who will turn to it to understand who AntiChrist is

@faithaloneromero The preacher is stuck in some old time ideas of prophecy that have been discarded years ago.
This is what happens when you hire a preacher from outside the church to come speak. You get an extra curricular teaching on prophecy, lol.
