1Thessalonians 5:2 "For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. Key words: THE DAY OF THE LORD... The day of the Lord and the day of "RAPTURE" are the same day...
Isaiah 13:9-10 & Matthew 24:29's description of this day is EXACTLY the same, and is called: the DAY OF THE LORD!
Then Christ in verse 29 says this day is "IMMEDIATELY AFTER TRIBULATION"
Pre Trib or Futurism was created by a Jesuit named: Francisco Ribera
Meaning we will never come to a conclusion or agreement on this subject... I have debated this subject for many years, and both sides have validity in scripture. I hope that one thing comes of it? A closer relationship with Christ, and we as brothers will smile when he comes to receive us and then the argument of Pre or Post will have no significance...
does John 11:24 provide evidence that the resurrection of the saints and the last day are one in the same,? "Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day."
The last day is the seventh day, or the Day of the LORD (Zech. 14:6-9). That resurrection is spoken of in passages like Ezekiel 37:12-14.
If when you say " the resurrection of the saints", you mean the NT bride, then you mean the first resurrection (Rev. 20:4-6). This is different than the resurrection of the Jews in Israel, and at a different time according to the scripture.
There is a study on the resurrection of the dead on the Sword of the Valiant website...
@wordprophet How would you interpret John 6:39, 40, 44 and 54 then? Jesus is speaking about those who believe in Him (NT bridge), saying He will raise them up on the last day?
He is speaking to Jews. He came only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. There were no Gentiles present, and what he was speaking was only for the Jews.
Jesus is refering to the NT bride, wether or not He is speaking to Jews or not! Why would He be referring to only the Jews when we are to be included in the same promise?
John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that EVERYONE which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
The people that Jesus was speaking to were Jews. There were no Gentiles being addressed. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. He came to gather his own lost sheep of Israel. The NT bride did not exist until 50 days after he rose from the dead.
so here is the question i pose. Is Jacobs trouble the 7 years or is it the 3.5? seems to be a lot of conflicting things on this. I am convinced we will be taken prior to the 7 but wanted to know your thoughts on this.
@cash4medaily I have a video which explains this from the scripture as well. It's called, "7 Year tribulation period? ". The Bible is very specific that the time of Jacob's trouble will be 42 months, 1,260 days, 3 1/2 years. Please check out the video (it is in 2 parts). I believe it will address all your questions on this matter. If not, please write me and ask me what you will. I am here for you.
@brntobme Thank you for that encouraging word, fellow disciple. May the Lord Jesus bless you and keep you in his will, and give you revelation by the hearing of his word unto life everlasting. Amen. :)

@YahsavedMefromFIRE
Angels in the flesh? No...
By the Jews I mean the physical seed of Abraham, 12,000 from every tribe of Israel.
wordprophet 10 months ago
@YahsavedMefromFIRE
No. The 144,000 are Jews that shall be sealed by God during the great tribulation.
The remnant is the few among the religious crowds who actually hear and obey the words of God.
Out of the 603,000 men that left Egypt to go to the promised land, only 2 made it in 40 years later.
So it is today. Narrow is the way that leads to life, and few there be that find it.

According to the scripture, the Day of the LORD is the seventh day, and will last 1,000 years (Zechariah 14:1-21).
The scripture declares that when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to the earth, his bride will be with him.
(Jude 14,15, Rev. 19:7,8,14, 20:4,5, etc...)
I am not "Pre-Trib", or "Futurist", or any other theological category. I only believe the testimony of scripture.
If any man has a question about the resurrections in the scripture, I am happy to give an answer.

@CastingStonez
But I will not enter the arena of debate about "Rapture" and "Pre, Mid, Post Trib".
I am commanded in the scripture to avoid such things, as they only engender strifes.
(2 Timothy 2:14-25)

"Harpazo" is GREEK and defined: "To be caught up"
"Rapere" is LATIN (vulgate) and defined: "Rapture"
Just to give some insight on the words used... I dont agree with the latin "rapture"
