@Svenskiii Alot has changed in terms of dps back then it was just pure raw power with strength and weapon skill now its in the boss spec with 3k crits from shut yur face from tactics and skill points. i wouldn't recommend using sword and board for a pure dps but its decent for a hybrid build if thats what ur really looking for, survivability/dps which dont really work that well,trust me dude u dont wanna know how much gold i spent on rebuilding mastery points trying to figure out whats the best

@Svenskiii idk really but there are tactics that increase damage with 2 handers they also come with 1 extra or even 3 tally slots so in most terms SnB is generally weaker in dps terms.because almost most and all of the gear is focused on defensive attributes.

I must say, even for a rank 50, you hit hard. My 75 ironbreaker can just about manage to put out your dps without FO on, with it mine's a little higher (1.3k crits on squishies) but even so, your dps is very high considering your rank.

Ive played both and the only reason i like wow more is becuase theres more to do in wow, in warhammer it takes about a month to get to 40 if not less, great video though

@Svv33txFTW well yes, but it's not the point in Warhammer. War is about PvP, NOT about PVE. 40 is the Level cap, but thats where the Game acutally starts, cuz thats when you take your months of work in pvp. But i agree that the PVE content in WAR is much weaker then in other games.

I found being agressive with a Black Orc at the time was much better than just soaking up damage as alot of people ignored you. @InvalidToLife This is was toughness spec before patch 1.12,toughness was basically dps/survivibility a hybrid spec,Now its seperated,and Da toughest has been nerfed,less crit chance from tactics,etc,so basically u wont kill like this unless u get really lucky with crits,which is really hard becuase of low crit chance from Gork smash,but u with shut ur face and the tactic u can almost crit for 2.5k or 3k if geared and specced correctly.

Dps tanks aren't supposed to put out as much damage as a mdps class. They're just more offensively minded tanks. And Black Orcs are very good at being offensive tanks

Atheist Black Orcs don't suck, it's the people who play them. I have seen some BOs pump out some nice DPS in scenarios with killing blows and solo kills, just depends if you know how to use their abilities. They are a bit tricky but if you read up on your abilities you will figure it out. You won't pump out near as much dps as a Choppa, but you can do so much more. Tank in RVR/PVE, support your group with Hold the Line!, Guard and their buffs. Tanks can get a lot of renown for guarding.

Yeah, I fucking love it. And as a black orc, you want to rush their backlines and harass their squishies. When you think of tanks, you think of protecting the front lines, but that's not the case with BOs.

Just rush the backlines and you'll take all the damage that the ranged DPS would be doing to your team, and if you have a healer, they're done.

They dont rly have the lowest damage output - specced correctly, Borcs do more damage than most tanks. Only an Ironbreaker or a Chosen can hope to outdps a well played DPS black orc. But they're also very good meatshields, unlike chosens. Imo, Kobs do the worst damage.

Yeah i've got a RR73 Ironbreaker and a RR44 black orc. Overall - i'd have to say that the breaker does far more dps. On the increasingly rare occasions where i pull out a 2 hander, I crit for ~1.3k with auto attack on squishies, and can pup out immense burst damage in a relatively short ammount of time. Specced correctly, Ironbreaker can annihilate back lines. The funny thing is, Black orc has better defence in offensive spec and more offence in defensive spec than ironbreaker :P

2. You can't see their gear, and most of the gear in warhammer looks similar. You have nothing to back up the claim that they are in "green gear".

3. This is a black orc pre-nerf. Most 55+ black orcs can still perform as well as this today.

tbh.. a dps specced tank has just a little bit more survivability than a choppa, and less damage output. loldps spec isnt practical at all - a good dps tank plays defensively, causes a problem for back line healers while guarding a heavy melee dps.

Well funnily enough, a CORRECTLY specced dps tank (defensive dps, not lol dps) is more practical in small scale than a fully def tank. Fully defensive tanks are only useful for either 1. solo play or 2. guardbotting - the latter is also doable by a correctly specced dps tank.

There's two types of dps tank..

Loldps - full damage, no survivability, the sort of person who says LOL LOOK AT MY DAMUDGE

backliner - a DPS specced tank who stacks defence and kills squishies in back lines with a MDPS

I quit this game about 4 months ago and about 1 month ago I started to play WoW again, just to try it out. I got my shaman to level 80 and got sick of it in about 3 weeks time. Now I am thinking of going back and playing my goblin shaman again, Yoel on Gorfang. I just miss the little runt lol. This game is by far much more competitve then WoW, both games are good don't get me wrong. WoW has decent PvP but it is no comparison to War PvP. Great thing about WoW more things to do when your not pvpn

A couple of things i really liked about your RvR style as a whole were you're targeting priority, and your persistance when overwhelmed. You always seem to target the right way, BW's first then healers immideatley following (given the right situations of course (the last fight being one exception to the rule.)) and i love how you stick on a target till one of you is dead. I think too many people jump around which lowers the ammount of kills. If you're gonna die, take someone with you.
