Ugh..they just had to finish this lukewarm movie with Christ undertones that are about as subtle as a gay clown in a Pride parade. Such a way to waste the talents of Spacey and Routh (despite this shitty movie, he was an ok Superman).
Luthor must have been having the time of his life beating up Superman. At first when I watched this, I did not know that Superman got weakened by the kryptonite and I wondered why Superman was getting owned by men without superpowers but now I understand this scene. However I would have liked the film better if Superman defeated Luthor in the end like he did in the previous films.
I'm still watching smallville (supermans early years) and I'm on season 4 and Clark and lex are like best pals. What happens yo make lex act like this???
This is the first time since young that I heard Superman screaming in pain and even got tortured in some humiliating ways, I almost cried out when he wanted to ask them to stop but could do nothing as the stupid krypton rendered him completely powerless.It's acceptable when spidey loses out but it's kinda ridiculous when the muscular superman gets punched, kicked and stabbed. Btw, Brandon did a great job and would like to see him in that suit again, only with less torture and better villain.
If they're going to go to the effort to put the boy through that they may as well discard that cumbersome outfit. The kicks would hurt more if he was naked!
