I have just looked again at 633 squadron at imdb and there are two credits now
1. anne ridler ss torturer (uncredited)
2. anne ridley female ss interrogator (uncredited)
so unless we can prove different i think it is anne ridley who played the part although i am going to watch tenko tomorrow as it is the only other thing i have.
demarch77 the credit for years on the imb database was ANN RIDLEY and i see now things have been altered to ANN RIDLER, i suppose someone could have made a mistake all those years ago about the name.
Do you have any of the other stuff she is credited with and if you have can you confirm if it is the same woman.
@ToonandBBfan The gestapo did use female officers to torture prisoners and extract information just that once they had the information they would kill the prisoners for sport and so there was no one left alive to testify to the fact.

The Shell Building attack quite likely inspired the scene if not the movie. The sheer audacity of the raid - selectively taking out the Gestapo interrogation rooms and records, whilst freeing the prisoners - is unrivaled in my humble opinion. The difference being that in the real raid, several prisoners being interrogated also escaped - perhaps the first time real-life outdid the movie industry in drama.
