Let me just say, there is nothing wrong with writing "love songs"- lots of husbands and boyfriends do (and should) write songs for the love in their life. He just does it for a living and in public. As long as he isn't writing unGodly songs, I'm ok with that.

@periechontology Ryan is saved. He was also on the Gateway worship team. He has written some of the best worship songs. And before you ask if i know them.. yes i do know them. I am on Gateway's wrship team
@SconeGirl2 He is saved. Ryan Edgar was also on the worship team with me. He left the worship team, but he did write a lot of the main songs they sing at gateway still. Like "I am not Ashamed". Ryan is a great guy. His brother works in the church as well. So don't judge a man for what type of music he enjoys writing.
