Sinus Buster Soup. 1 cup of low sodium chicken broth, 1/4 cup of chopped red onion, clove of crushed garlic and a 1/4 teaspoon or more of cayenne pepper.
Great for asthma and sinusitis.3 times a day worked better than antibiotics.
I have a bowl every night before bed.Onion help promote sleep as well.
@escapeclaus I don't think so. The Environmental Working Groups lists onions as the cleanest of all veggies, with little to no pesticide contamination.
Next time you get a fever cut two 1/2 inch thick slice of onion, put one on the bottom of each foot using your sock to hold it in place. Your fever will break faster than with otc drugs and no liver damage! Try it it works!
I've always said onions are God's blessing. I don't know what we would do without them. I eat half an onion raw with my meals every day. I love them so much that I can't resist them... LOVE LOVE LOVE Onions!!!!!!!!
Would you inform your listeners on how Codex and other world organizations and corporations have started to IRRADIATE our food supply and how it kills the food and how diseased, sick and hungry we will all become from lack of nutrients, enzymes etc...? It will be like eating at McDonald's for every meal if/when they get this accomplished. They are already irradiating our spinach, lettuces, spices, chicken, beef, produce and gulf oysters in their irradiation plants.
I have enjoyed so much your videos. Thanks a lot! I am 35 years old and had been hospitalized recently due to high blood pressure. I almost had a fatal stroke. So I know I need to get all the information about healthy foods while my body can still recover.
@toddwills try raw foods... My father had very bad diabetes and after 2 years of being on mostly raw, his Dr. took him off of his medication and stated to him that he doesnt have the condition any longer.
I read that onions should be used up after cutting, and hardly stored in the refrigerator at all. You did mention a few days only. I read the bacteria/germs can grow on the onion and cause all kinds of gastronomical problems (heartburn/acid reflux) and probably some others due to poisons/toxins by the bacteria. As a side note, rotten onions is in about the top 5 worst smells known - I smell it once and it's like instant vomit it's that bad.
Question ? Doesn't the nutritional value of onions change when you cook them, especially when they are in a slow cooker ? I alway's thought vegetables are much, much better when eaten raw .Eating raw onions are brutal to the digestive tract.I get strong stomach pains from them.
You're right, the longer they are cooked the more nutrients that are lost. The healthiest way to prepare is by sauteing sliced onions in low sodium vegetable or chicken broth no more than 10 minutes. Cook until they become translucent. Cooking time varies depending on the thickness of the slices.
When i was a kid and we got sick my mother used to make something with onion and honey and we would drink it.I love onions, when i was body building i used to eat 1/2 raw onion a day to cleanse the blood. I put onions in everything except my tea and water.
I put onions in EVERYTHING. There is not a single dish I make without onions. I LOVE ONIONS!!!!!!!

I'm a little confused. In the text, it says the red and brown are most beneficial, but in the video you state the red and yellow.
NemeanLion 3 months ago
@NemeanLion should have said red and yellow. Sorry!

Onions will kill your cats, dogs as they do not have enzyme to digest this food.
garylp3 6 months ago
@garylp3 Cats won't even touch an onion and dogs would need to consume massive amounts of onions to cause any health risk.
