The Plain top Honeyburst is equal to any plus top I've ever seen.

Go with the Honeyburst it's friggin sweet.

Yeah I had a time deciding between the cherry sunburst and the honey burst but in the end went with the honey burst because it does look more vintage....just a beautiful guitar! The quality of these guitars has improved so much and for the money you can't beat it! The tone is all classic Les Paul and the Alnico pickups are just fine. I used to be a guitar snob but no more. Save yourself some money and get an Epiphone unless you got money to burn!

Where did you find this guitar? Because even on the epiphone website, i can ONLY find the Epiphone les paul standard PLUS TOP in honey burst, i cannot find the plain top. I checked guitarcenter too, no luck. I love the look of a classic plain top. The plus top's flame look is cool, but the plain top has such a vintage look to it.

I saw les paul play live back in new york city 2007. The Epiphone Les paul plain top was one of three Epiphone Les pauls he played that night. He didnt play any Gibson les pauls that night they were all Epiphone Les pauls. He was 92 and didnt miss a note.

@1234rastas Hi! Thanks mate! This guitar is awsome! If you like that les paul sound, you just did the right thing! I have it for about 2 years and i'm loving it. I did a lot of gigs with it and I have no reason to complain. The only thing I did to it was changing the electronics to Gibson electronics. Of course, it's not a Gibson, but is the close you get to it.

A truly amazing guitar. I've had this beauty for over a year, but the headstock snapped off last week, (it accidentally got bumped off my guitar stand by my mom, lol.) but I'm getting it fixed in a couple of days. I can't wait to plug it in again.

@HutchDano590 the difference is that the plus top has a flamed maple top. And although it looks pretty, i have heard rumors that it is a sticker and not the real deal. Personally, I like the plain top's look better, but the price difference may also convince you on which you like better.

this is my second comment on this video, although i have watched it numerous times but i cannot help it. But this is a message not only to the owner of this outstanding piece of heaven but to beginner and intermediate guitarists. I am only 19 (currently). But this is a brilliant guitar and i have tried out so many Les Paul copies and this is the closest you will get to Gibson. The feel of the neck is sexual in its way, the clean tones are warm and no matter what this guitar delivers. Rock Love G

I badly want this guitar, i played one before live but it was a loaned one. I love it, doesn't matter bout it's cheaper price it is still an outstanding machine. Great for rock and a legend of rock n roll. Great video man oh and excellent choice of music. ;) Go far with this guitar

I think it's worth. the guitar is very good for the price.

If you like the costum model, is also a great choice ... Epiphone Les Paul Standard and Epiphone Les Paul custum are the best models of epiphone.

I had the idea of buying the Epiphone Les Paul black beauty, but I do not like much of the hardware in gold and is also more expensive.

The differences are minimal ...

If you like the costum, it is worth

If you like the standard, it is worth too.

hum ok! I think it's because of the lights. This guitar changes color depending on the different lights and different angles of shooting. is a fantastic guitar!

Moreover, the color of this type of guitar is not always the same, even though the same model. each guitar is unique
