I really like the vintage magazine covers - even remember seeing some of the titles like "Sir" in the magazine racks in the corner drugstore when I was a kid growing up in the 1950s. I understand now why I always got swushed away. What a woman! RIP Miss Page!

I'm definatly getting a tribute tattoo of Bettie this Christmas! Really! I was thinking...a simple picture of her that my sister found, with her name above her picture, and a banner that says "the pin-up sensation that shocked the nation". then maybe have the year she was born to the year she passed...or maybe the year she started the pin-up career! i cant decide which one. any suggestions? I'd always wanted a tat of her...but then I'd changed my mind until now. she's gonna shine on my arm! RIP.

Bettie Page pushed the limits of acceptable society and paved the way for all others before her. She is and always will be a class act. She was betrayed by the very people she helped make rich. Throughout it all she was a lady and that says it all.
