you know those challenger's and chargers look nice but for the size of the engine that is some poor HP in my opinion love those super fords though dam thats crazy fun driven both and the charger has a nice interior but the shelby owns the drag strip

370 for the 09 charger lol wow i read in motor trend in 2011 the regular Mustang GT will come with a 6.2 liter engine with 400crank hp

well thats a big boost from a 4.6 liter V8 300 horsepower 320 lbs feet of torque and umm you have to take into consideration power to weight ratio the S197 mustang gt weighs around 3,450 lbs at least mines does and a stock gt goes 0-60 in 5.5 seconds the challenger is too heavy at close to 4,000 lbs and that 6.1 liter challenger is the srt8 the r/t is only 340 crank hp but heavy and does 0-60 5.9 secs and the one of the fastest stangs the GT500 rapes a srt8 hands down lol

the srt was not meant to compete with the gt500 either the gt500 is beastly but mopar is coming out with a dealer installed supercharger that cranks the hp up to 600

you know shelby does have an answer for that...BUT why on earth are regular people going to drive on the street with 725 HP anyways...and spend over 80K to do it...you can if you want to say that YES you are now the king of the road...but you could have bought a house for that. LOL

a pro can get that down considerably..but it takes a pro in any car to run the 1/4 mile correctly anyways.

A Challenger vs a Bullit Mustang I've seen in car and driver mag...The Challenger with 425 hp won the drag run...by 1/10th of a second...the bullit had only 315...hp is not everything...

yup..its taking everything form the earlier base Shelby (the NA GT vers), and bullit's, and made that the standard now...and with 3.73 rear gears...total all out power is not always the victor...as shelby had once stated..."HP sells cars, torque wins races"

exactly< the gt beats the r/t which has 376 in the 0-60 and if driven right will beat it in the 1/4 but they squueze in the same time most of the time

didn't you read the title? is a regular r/t (340 hp) with some mods against a 500 hp GT500 , i knew from the beginning that i was not going to win, but check my other vids, and you will see that the mustang can't handle the HEMI
