Comparing the accuracy of simpson's rule and trapezoidal rule, generally simpson's rule is more accurate as the formula approximate the curvature (of the strip) by parabola instead of a straight line as used in trapezoidal rule. However, the accuracy of the results using both rules will be much improved if n (number of strips) is big enough. i.e. the curvature will tend to be a straight line if the area is divided into large number of strips.
