  • thats not titanium. but good try...

  • Not stainless. Sorry

  • shit of welder and welding

  • Do you have the volfram tip inside the cup or is it sticking a bit outside? I cant see. I do see you still walkign the cup when you put the 2nd passing without dipping the volfram. How do u do it? And do you have a vid were one can see what kind of cup you are using? I would really like to weld like this. Im already weld alot in stainless, tig, mig, mma. But I tig alot slower then you LOL

  • walkin the cup....

  • This is great for one or two parts, but for the 100 or so he's got there? Get an auto set up. Retarded Freddy could work that out.

  • Looks like 316 stainless.

  • OMG this crazy

  • that is not titanium

  • 4,5 yrs Puu! Good Idea I 'll Teach you on you Tube with a set of 100 videos! 30 years!

Airplane ? / vs Nuclear All over the World! N get Google to put an ad on em!

  • Steady gives better gas coverage! Walking the cup won't pass x ray 100% believe me I fixed all the come backs! No but you do need a Titanium Tig Torch ! $300 cup / gas Lens / Collet the company was probably tu , Combo Crmo3 to 316 L, Only in a box " Argon Enriched Environment was super alloy, and Titanium, also did titanium in a Oxygen Env with the right Torch, Main Coolant Inconell 625,600, on subs with a few mirrors and Left n Right Handed Cn't on a sub no room 89 certs, 49 nucs! all PIPE

  • @mccoydfm404 Nobody gives a fuck.

  • @sykop8ntballer cuz u don'y know shit about it! or the processes in an non oxygen environment, or Tig Titanium in an Oxygen environment! Hast-alloy, Incone 600, 625, RN87H , n about 50 other metallurgical properties~!!!! neither Do *80% of the Nuclear Pipe Welders So I know Your ass don't! Cup Walking is for fas BS Land Bases Non Critical , low gas coverage welding, X-Ray Mirror Welding on a Submarine w pipe all around and Electrical in the overhedad, How u gonna walk a cup??? Yeah in a vise!

  • @mccoydfm404 I've been subcontracting for Boeing for 4.5 years, I weld TI parts in a pure Argon environment, I can weld any kind of pipe with any process in any position. Do you see me bragging about it? No. That's because I know nobody on the internet cares. If you're so great, maybe you could grace us with some videos?

Also, take a few 3rd grade level English classes for fuck's sake, I had to read that comment a few times before I could understand what point you were trying to make.

  • @sykop8ntballer sorta sounds like you are bragging about it now, really you could have made your point without listing your experience and stating that you can weld anything. But now everyone knows you are an amazing welder so I guess you made your point.

  • @brentlovestoweld Damn right.

  • @sykop8ntballer u may not but some can learn from what I have already done , BTW u can sing !

  • Cup walking is a valuable skill for field welding.

However, you really should have a turn table for this type of job.

You could get much more done with allot less effort

  • first of all: that's not titanium, it's a 316 stainless steel with some titanium (say 4-6%) making it a aisi 316 TI. This is easy to weld, providing you're a skilled welder with some serious experience. It's a professionals-only thing to do, but personally I don't like his technique. It may look spectacular, the way he moves, in fact it's all bull and show. Nothing to it. Oh yeah: I've been doing it for 22 years, so...

  • i thought the only way to weld titanium is in an argon rich environment like a sand blaster chamber

  • @Galley415 you can weld it without being in a purged environment, there is a special kind of cup for the tig torch that keeps the shielding gas over the weld until it has cooled enough to keep impurities out. Its called a trailing cup.

  • And I thought you needed a steady hand to weld....nice work but I couldn't do that all day.....

  • You fail at not destroying expensive parts. Cup walking is a nice way to contaminate welds. Also totally improperly shielded.

  • ömmm... that joints are destroyed if it really is titanium ! theyre blue and brittle.. what about shield gas ?

  • and that ladies and gentlemen is called walking the cup...nice technique makes it easier and quick good job sir

  • sorry boys, but what you are showing is really poor welding! it looks impressive thanks to the wild arm movements, but really: ist's useless! and I'm being polite here...

  • Hahahaha! Dude, what a trippy technique. If it works, it works. :)

  • not bad, but i could do the same with less blue and less wiggling my arm around like a moron

  • This is no titanium, this is a stainless steel alloy of 316 L with a littlebit of titanium. That makes it 316 Ti or 1.4571. it welds just like other stainless steel alloys.

Real titanium alloys are welded with enough backinggas (argon) untill the temp of the material is 250-300°C again, so you have smooth, light yellow to amber coloured welding. It's not that easy as stainless steels like 304, 309, 316 Lsi or 316 Ti.

  • Hi, did you do this welding? did you have to use argon for this? if you did use argon did you use it on the other side of the weld too? what about the waiting time with the argon being fed until temperature drops enough? What is that wire you are using?

  • Your a fucking good welder man, keep up the awesome work.

  • titanioduplex11 real titanium welding foto videos.... sorry

  • walking the torch on the gas shield is the oddest thing i have ever seen.

  • @ORGDNR Its called Walking the Cup. Most Fab shop welders don't know a thing about this, Real welders are Pipe Welders

  • @k9forkids ooohhhhh i bet you're an amazing welder are'nt you!!! fuckoff clown!!!

  • @k9forkids this video from Turkey, this technique name is "fincan cevirme" >"rolling coffee cup" in Turkish.

  • Contaminated tungsten @ 2:51. Thats the strangest technique I ever saw

  • @prowelder85

What was the giveaway for the contaminated tungsten?

  • you kill the titanium by doing it this way...it will brake like glass if it get a heavy punch....try a to conect a shield shoe to protect cooling to under 300 degreeds,,,then you will have a perfect conection,,,norwegian offshore welder.

  • are you sure thats titanium

  • How did you learn to weld like that? That is so epic!
