Thanks so much fo the kind words. There are so many great Don McLean songs but this one of my favorites, too, and I love playing it. I saw Don twice when he was very new to fame and he is such a great solo performer, interacting with the audience as if they were his close friends. A real pro.

beautiful. I have always loved this song - you you sing it beautifully. we once saw don - in boston - after a sound check at our college BU - and mentioned this song and he played it for us. i will never forget that.

paul san miguel was origianly done by lonnie donnegan and then again in 1969 by roger whittaker.far and away the best version yet,although hard to find.your talent is really remarkable.thanks again you are truly one with your music.please keep it up.harry

Funny but I just recently viewed a Youtube video with Mr. Whittaker and Chet Atkins. I'd nearly forgotten how famous he'd been. There's a ton of his recordings on Amazon so will have to search around. thanks so much for your encouraging comments. I'm having fun getting back to playing after letting it go for too many years.
