This is the only one of the fighting games to include the transformations mid-fight I think. Too bad it's not that great. Kind of like a crappier version of the original Virtua Fighter.

They could make a great game with today's technology but it's been forever since anyone touched the Ranma 1/2 franchise.

@Radicalvegeta Nah... platformer... They should've made a TPP action game! Multiple playable characters (not only the main one), skills to use, fighting system kinda like in Jade Empire. Damn, this franchise revolves around martial arts, it's just a PERFECT material for an action game with lots of fights. Why the hell not? It would've made good income, especially due to large fan community in america.

well those are games created by Square Enix themselves, they are original.

what i mean is Square Enix will not make a game not created by them good, instead they will ruin them. Ranma on SNES is already created by someone else back in 90s. and if SE come alone and went in charge of remaking Ranma, they'll just ruin it with unnesseary shiny effects and "Saint" storyline(every game they comes out have something to do with God, are they highly religious or something?)

Yeah, microsoft is good at screwing up games. One of "their" creations - Freelancer. A mediocre space sim. But it could be one of the best space sim games if only microsoft didn't buy the rights to it and butcher out loads of content (planetfal, playable cap-ships, even barrel rolling!).

Honestly I DO NOT want to see microsoft doing a game about ranma. If they do, expect some crap like no transformation feature.

You know, if somebody is gonna make a new Ranma game, it oughtta be a fighting game like Naruto Ninja Storm cause you know in the anime, Ranma doesnt really fight at one place for so long and he tends to run around. Besides, that way it would be more interesting. If they fall in a pond or lake during a fight, you get the idea.

I liked this one, bros. It may seem like it "sucks" now, but tell me how you would have felt during the time of the 90s when most 3d games had these mechanics. They were a work in progress; and you have to look at it from the perspective of that time, not now with the 360s and the wiis and the blue rays and the no arcades in most america, and kids bitching at othres cause they will never be seen to have their faces kicked in...

Uhm the Anime never was much about fighting imo, sometimes it was key but it was more about the interaction between the characters, the way the fights in the animes are could never be implemented in a Game because it had many comedy aspects
