Perhaps someone from Guatemala ^^ wouldn't automatically know that the Walmart Ozark Trail mystery steel machete with the paper-thin blade isn't a good machete. Just a thought.

Not everyone has the money to buy and destroy well, anything let alone a machete , I know the walmart one is cheap but again not everyone would be willing to go out buy it with the intention of testing it to its breaking point for the benefit of others. you know dam well your supposed to chop a tree on a 45 degree angle. You NEVER chop a tree with a baseball swing angle, thats an incorrect way to hack wood. Unless of course your just trying to break a machete on purpose :)
Hey, thanks for the only acual demo of the notorus wal-mart machete! There are all kinds of people saying how cheap it is but no one acualy had experince with it, it COULD have been the best machete around but ovisly its not!

I guess thats where I am smarter than you. They make these things called Safety Glasses.. You should check into them. They protect your eyes from flying debris.
@locke6206 Im going to USA this summer and i were wondering what kind of stores can u buy good machetes? can u say me some names on some stores if u know any?? and what kind of machete do you recommend?
And i suppose the wal mart machete is okay as long as u don`t abuse it to much?
Like night and day between the two. before it bent I was thinking with all its flex you could string it up like bow, or use to back a sappling to create a quick bow, but I like the spatula idea.
