what you could do, at the end, mark where the crease will go with a bone folder on a mouse pad. That way it will be easier.

I made this tree last Christmas and I fix with school glue, apply clips ( for clothes when you wash, you understand?) let dry and apply gold spray. After I put some litle lights red and done. ; ) Hugs from Brazil

I remember making Halloween witches with Reader's Digest magazines. We spray painted them black and added a styro ball, hat and broom.

My mom used to make these trees out of Reader's Digests in the 50's. She always sprayed hers with gold paint before decorating. They are lots of fun for kids to make. Keeps them busy for a long time! Thanks for letting me relive my youthful days! hahaha

@sweetpo11 My mom used to do the very same thing!!!! Her "Ladie's Guild" at the church did them!!! I have to admit I like the updated version better!!!
