Hey, It's going good with the game. I am going to make a new movie soon, becouse my mapping skills have improved, and I wanted to show how things look now. I have re-done quite al lot of maps, and That took quite some work. My beta-demo has already been tested, and the guy liked it. I think I will add some more maps, and then I release a small demo (the full one will become bigger, but I can't finish that one before the next year) Got to work a lot on grammar too...
Right, you just need to learn how the program works - knowing computer programming language isn't necessary. However, it isn't exactly a walk in the park at first, either - just don't try to do too much too fast and learn how the program works. Events / Switches are the thing you need to learn - once you've mastered that, you can do a lot.
You don't need any program skills to work with RPG maker 2003. I'm really a noob when it comes to working with progammes and codes. You should give RPG maker a try.
Another good thing is that the games are free as well that people share for you to download and play. This one Joowahn is making looks like it will be one of the good ones. I've got one you can download if you want to try - look at the video in my profile if interested.

If you can't hear music in 2003, you have to play the song in Mediaplayer, and then open it in the music database in RPG maker, then remove the song from the mediaplayer playlist, and close mediaplayer. You should hear the song playing in RPG maker.

But I'll tell you why I can't release the demo yet. It is becouse I made a lot of maps that appear later in the game. For instance: I already made the map where you will fight the last battle. That's becouse I had the idea, and I didn't want to forget it so I made the maps. The demo will be quite large: the first 2 chapters of the game, so when it's finally realeased, you'll have lots of fun :)
That must be the world map, it itsn't finished yet, but in the end it should be like 500x500. I make all kinds of map sizes from big to the smallest. The town you see at 02.27 is 90x90
Rpg maker Xp is alright. But i prefer Vx

I see the characters from Devil Hunter: Seeker of Power... in fact all of em' were the customs from DH...

Yeah I know. I got the characters from the internet, but I found out later they were from the DH game...
But I don't want to chance them now, couse that would be WAY too much work, and I like those sprites.

Ahh... no it's free.
You can download it. Just search with google for RPG maker 2003 free download, or something.
