Thanks for posting this. I got to see the guys at Ravinia in Illinois a couple of times and go back stage to meet them. What awesome musicians. I am still trying to figure this tune out at home. It has only been 30 years or so. Maybe someday I'll get it.
I have this on cassette, now cd from a show at Hofstra College, n.y. on the radio. He introduced this song as having been inspired from just hearing a James Taylor song on the radio. It was at that point still un-named. Circa 1979
@h8aification Totally understand you man, I'm 17 and I owe my music taste to my father since 6-7 when he introduced me to Rick Wakeman and Deep Purple
@slashdelbarrio Amen, bro i totally applaud both of our fathers for serving us well in good, solid music taste at a young age. Alot of kids never get why i am just not into to much of today's music. But there's always someone who share our alike experiences . But I will say i haven't heard of either of those artists . i'll have to look 'em up :) And I'll say a few you may know; Philippe Saisse , George Duke , and heck even some Enya ha yeah Thank god for fathers like ours.
looks like '82 Offramp tour, and since we're seeing Nana's back, I'm guessing this is filmed from an extreme stage right angle, like actually FROM the stage, not the audience.
this man feel de guitar and the music impresive

This is significantly slower than the studio cut and yet he sustains the intensity. He's such wonderful creator.
