Epic! It was all like 3, 2, 1, GO! And then they were like woosh right out of the gate. And then my grandma came along out of nowhere and passed them both. Oh man that was amazing
@BLWN454 A truck that's lifted is going to have more drag and the Ford f350 could have a programmer and other mods done to the engine so expect the unexpected.
@jrocksnittos those trucks are friggn slow for the engine size. lol my 6 cylinder 4.0l jeep will keep neck and neck till around 95mph then its all jeep, and my jeep has a 4 speed trans while the 5.7 is a 5 speed. unless i am just a better driver than the guy i raced. lol oh and it was a short bed 2 door so he weighed less than me by close to 800lbs and the truck was 5+ years newer than my jeep. now i am not saying jeep is better than all I am just saying Chrysler screwed up with the 5.7l v8
@tylerspyler2 You are nutz, the 5.7 is one of the BEST motors alive. I have no idea why this yellow ram only ran a 17 somethin. My bone stock reg cab short bed 4x4 ran a 14.9 at 94 mph bone stock, after my power adders and a small shot of nos it was High 12s. My brothers 4dr hemi a year older bone stock ran a 15.1 in the qtr.
@sappbigshotter I have to disagree. 2 of the most long lived engines made are the 7.3l diesel and the 4.0l i6 powertech. and that is a fact. and I also am just going by what I saw and what I saw racing one. but like I said He may have not been a good driver.
@tylerspyler2 honestly, out of all the best motors out, the ford 300 straight 6 is prob number 3, number 2 would be the 4.0 straight 6 and number 1 bein the 5.9 cummins. that just cant be denied. just sayin that out of the new vehicles on the line, the hemi is by far superior in my opinion, with wat it comes stock and wat you can do to them with little to no money. not much of a ford guy so i wouldnt know a whole lot about the 7.3, just know i NEVER hear anything bad about the cummins or 4.0
@sappbigshotter the truth (from my experience0 is that the 4.0 loves to leak oil,the 7.3 has cam sensor issues, the cummins need a better auto trans, and the hemi has stalling issues.
@tylerspyler2 perty right but diesel + any auto tranny is dum.... and cummin has a issue with a pinn buy the fuel pump comen out and busting a hole in the block...
@ps3dethman1 the 4r100 and 5r100 auto tans are a very durable as long as they have good cooling, most last 4000000+ miles in a diesel. its all about driving and hauling styles
@TexasRamBoy02 I don't disagree that your 4.7L probably is faster than both these trucks. But your 4.7L doesn't weigh 7,000 to 8,500lbs. Just saying...The trucks in this video are farm trucks made for work. And clearly they are stock farm trucks at that. There is no need for a work to run 10 second 1/4 miles.
first one to 2nd gear wins!!!
