  • this car might be worth something someday, if someone would get it out of the weather! Sits outside much longer, it will be nothing but junk!

  • restore it and maybe you,ll get crumpy like clint eastwood!!!

  • fix it just don t look at it

  • Is it still sitting there? If it is go take your uncle out in a feild and shoot him and if he is not living anymore then go out in the feild and shoot yourself for not doing something with it. I am no Ford guy but this piss's me off the let a car sit there and rot. Atleast sell or give it to someone that car care for it.

  • Your uncle's a straight-up asshole.

I couldn't sit idly by with a fucking Ford Torino rotting away in my front yard...

  • you should bloody save that car mate

  • try to get the bitch running

  • Hey are you selling any of the parts in the car if so message me back cuz I need a few of the parts you have

  • This is sad and your uncle should be ashamed leaving it sit on the ground and why did he have a naked barbie doll in trunk.

  • @TheFinlover35 , LMAO now now don't get too personel, might embaress the ol fart..

  • Id like to know what it looked like when he first parked it there.

  • Can't help but feel sick to my stomach knowing classics like this are just rotting.

  • Fordguru, check your information..............302 were in torino hardtop, GT, and 500.

You do not know what you are talking about.

And if you think you do I have a quiz question for you.............What is the difference between a windsor and a cleveland?

  • @gixxerboy007 , LOL he's probably on google right now surfing like crazy to find out. But correct me if I'm wrong, cause I had a 73 Mustang Mach 1 with a 351C "small block" while the 351W is a big block.

The 351 Windsor was made in Ontario while Clevelend was made in Detroit, right ??

  • u should really get bored AND STICK A JACK UNDER THERE AND JACK THAT BITCH UP! U COULD HELP IT ALOT JUST BY DOING THAT!

  • i need the big 500 logo

  • not a rare ride @ all a damn shame but .....thats the way it goes

  • thats not a 302 its a 351 windsor the 302 wasnt intruduced to the torinos

  • That 302 isn't the original motor.

  • @fordguru92 Better check your facts again sir. I owned two Grand Torino's ( 72-73 ) back in my younger days, lol 25 years ago, and both had 302's.

  • SAVE IT SAVE IT SAVE IT

  • dont let that rust away 2 nothing once its gone youll never see that car again

  • you should at least lift it out of the dirt to keep from to much further rust ... you should really consider parting it out.. you could make quite a bit between the grill and powertrain .. those bucket seats could be reapolstered ... id love to have those

  • Since your not a torino guy, that car has to just ROT in that fucking yard???

  • He said it was his uncles. Some people have attachment to a car and wont get rid of them, or it could be a "when I get around to it" project. But I agree that its a shame to let it sit there and rust.

  • Why ain't that ole' girl out on the road or in a nce garage? WTF!.

  • A 71 torino 500 sports roof. You could have ordered it with a CJ. ford did the 500 fastbacks

for a reason. It would be half the price for insurance as a 500 fastback CJ car. then a GT CJ

But most peolpe never cought on.

  • what is red on red

  • damn the back pannels are in pretty good condtion...i need them cuz i am restoring a 1971 torino 500 that has been sitting in someones yard for twenty one years an the back pannels an trunk walls are rotted out an the frame is in pretty shity condtion to but still there nice cars..lol

  • nice car. you should think about fully restoring it. i also liked the cool dude sticker, haha

  • that thing is long gone to be restored.

  • It can be restored, it just depends on how deep you can dig in your pockets..

  • oh man ... way cool video! Sorry to see the Torino in that shape ... but still cool to see!

  • cool a guy outside of atwater mn has a green mercury cyclone with the front end sitting on a 55 gallon barrel drum sitting besides his barn

  • That's not a Torino 500 (LTD) the quarter windows and sports roof tell the story. Your uncle may have had some parts from a 500, but that is a FrankenGT.

  • I'm sad to say but you are wrong. Ford did make 500 "sportsroofs", and this is one of them. Everything is original on this car. Check out the dash badging at 2:54, and the two piece grill in the back seat. GT's had a one piece tailight assy, this car obviously doesn't. Inquired about this car over the holidays, 47k actual, and 302 has boss heads added with 4spd top loader behind motor. This isn't a rare cobra, just an old torino.

  • Wow that's amazing! I thought the dash came from another car because it was not red, and the buckets threw me off, also I thought the other parts might have been scavenged due to what looks like the aftermath of a frontal collision. Pretty cool I did some research myself and you're right there were sportsroof 500's, too bad it wasn't garaged it might have drawn a pretty penny except for the fact it's hard to get rid of anything w/ a red interior.

  • are the floor pans still intact ? if so its not to bad to restore its welding time baby!!!!!

  • pans were very soft

  • why did he park it

  • God dang, this car has all the parts i need. This car wouldnt happen to be for sale or be parting out, would it?

  • sent you a message!!

  • After reviewing this vid, I realized the codes on the door are incorrect and are from another car. Drivers door was replacement for damaged original. Sorry.
